Rain in Bermuda

Wondering if Bermuda is much like the Caribbean, when it says rain in the forecast, it is just a passing shower?

That's been our experience and I can only remember it happening 3 times over numerous trips which were in Oct. YMMV in other months.

No worries. Any rain seems to move in and out. Also, don't be discouraged by any clouds in the morning. :)

We are deeply into a drought - most people are having to buy water - and we'd love to see some serious rain in the forecast ... but there isn't any for the foreseeable future so I think you don't need to worry!

 

And, as they say here, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute.

I think there was a passing shower on Thursday, May 21st, 2009 in Hamilton since the streets were slightly wet but we didn't really experience a "real" shower.

We saw real rain coming down on Thursday as we were coming back from Horseshoe. Trouble is, for the residents, it didn't last all that long.
