Bazzgurl26 Posted June 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2009 We are booking acruise for April 2010. We are doing a couples cruise with some friends. We plan on getting Balcony rooms next to each other. Does POA allow the Balconys to be open to each other? Meaning we would have 1 large balcony?? Is that even possible on the POA? Thanks

jeo_la Posted June 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2009 We are cruising July 5 to Alaska, we were told our adjoining room can remove the balcony divider as well. Our room is 9162-9164. When we get back I'll let you know if it happened.
PDX Dwayne Posted June 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2009 Yes you can remove the divider, just make sure you book the rooms that have the adjoining door between them. Balcony rooms that are just side by side have permanent dividers.
noobcruiser Posted June 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2009 I am pretty sure that the divider is not "removed", it is simply a door that can be unlocked and opened by your steward.

Bazzgurl26 Posted June 12, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted June 12, 2009 I called NCL this afternoon and they confirmed that if you have a Adjoining(sp?) room then the Balcony partition opens, If not then its not possible. BLAH. Oh well. I guess we will just have to make do.
cmpaula Posted June 12, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 12, 2009 When we sailed on PoA we were told the dividers could not be removed for "safety reasons".
