Lessa11 Posted June 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2009 I thought I was so careful selecting our room, but I just noticed that we will be above a 24 hour restaurant. Will the noise travel upwards? At least we aren't below it. Should I see if I can change it?

I have never been above or below a restaurant, but I know if it were me, I would probably try to change it, I am a light sleeper....
NCTribeFan Posted June 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Never been over a restaurant, but was under one on Glory. Absolutely no noise. I'd be a lot more worried if I were under the Galley. You didn't say what ship you were on.
Sea Hag Posted June 13, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2009 I don't think sound carries up as much as it does down. You might not hear a thing.

I really don't want to change rooms because it's mid ship on the port side (for Glacier Bay viewing) and near, but not too near, the elevators.
