Blackjack Players Step Inside!

Yo Eleven

Don't be daft. None of their play effects you. Ignore others and focus on your hand. Most of those guys probably had a better time and won something!

unklez..I know that...it was just very distracting. I go to relax and sitting at those tables was anything but.

Try it sometime I think you would also find it difficult when there are plenty of tables availble.

Cheers

I will always ask a fellow player at the table if they would like my advice.

And, that my decession may not guarantee you the win.

If they refuse my advice and make an ignorant call, I simply color up and leave. At $5 and $10 tables, expect this type of play. No reason to get all upset and argue etc...

But at $25 and up tables, ask for the advice. You owe that much to anyone betting like that. When you do encounter an ignorant play at this level of a table, color up and leave. I have seen way to many heated

arguments, and a few physical in my years playing 21.

Way to many crazy folks in this world to take any chances. It is just not worth it.

Furthermore, there is no luck involved in this game. No gut feelings. Just proper play and most important, money management. These cards are not random. If you are not a card counter, keep a watchfull eye on all the

10 value and aces that come out of the shoe. The only random cards will be found in a CSM machine. Do not ever play 21 when a CSM machine is being used. You are better off playing slots!

You are suggesting that you have better odds in slots than a game of blackjack using a continuous shuffling machine?

Pass some of that Jack Daniel's over here please. HAHA! :D

Just a joke YO! I would not ever play either game.

In my opinion, CSM bj is a waste.

BTW, make mine a double Goose on the rocks please!

Oh okay! I thought you were liquored up. HAHAHA!

So if you don't play BJ, whatcha your game of choice?

Wow, COUSIN! You must be a high roller then. You must slap down a 100 dollar passline bet and back it up with 5X odds? I like to shake your hand big boy! :D

Blackjack yes. Craps just green chips. But at 1x not worth the while.

You know Yo, make the money on the odds bets!

Wow! I keep tabs on who participates in our new casino section. It looks like you woke up from the dead here. Are you gonna be a regular for now on? :D

Good one Yo. I just get a little pumped up just before we set sail in Sept.

Good thread for the Casino Junkies!

I think I will keep tabs here for a while. Hopefully I can shed some light on for others with my many years of Casino knowledge.

You got me. Iam sure I will, bad rules and all.

Voyager of the Seas in Sept, out of Barcelona. To keep the Mrs happy,

we do a Euro cruise every year. So then I get my free passes to the Mother Land about 3 times a year...

Hmmm. What's a girl to do? I practice basic strategy all the time (a couple of apps on my iphone) and study my chart cards, but I do forget and make mistakes sometimes when playing. How do I minimize my irritation of advanced players around me (besides the usual etiquette)? Should I politely ask the dealer or a better player if I'm not sure what "the book" says? I do that sometimes, but not always. Sometimes I just screw up.

Not that I'd be dumb enough to hit a twenty or anything like that....more like forgetting when and when not to split or double down mostly. Back to my studying!:D

I have yet to see anyone get upset when someone asked the table for advice. On the contrary, it can be an ice-breaker and make it more fun. Sometimes a table goes 15 minutes with hardly a word spoken.

I only get irritated on really STUPID play. Stuff that is so far from the basic strategy it is absurd. As long as you play your own game and don't hold up the game (that is another thing that drives me nuts, folks taking forever to make a decision) then you will be fine.

I agree. Getting advice on an active table is acceptable.

Many casinos will allow you to carry the basic strategy card at the table. I think I have seen them on RCCL before. You can't however have any electronic devices so you cant have the chart open on your Iphone
