A2Mich Posted June 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2009 My TA in the US can already get Caribbean prices for me for Sept/Oct 2011, but not sure of European sailings or for UK policies, but we are able to get rates in the US now for that time frame. Aprille Posted June 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2009 The only itineraries available that far out are on Allure and Oasis. For all other ships it will be late April/early May 2010 before the next season (thru April 2012) will be available.
choc56uk Posted June 29, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted June 29, 2009 we have 2 options....or maybe 3 1/ cancel.....lose 100£ pp = aprox 120$ pp 2/ book another cruise higher price ( but not going on it ) actually at a much later time and date....it has to be higher as then we will not pay any for changing.....we booked direct and not with a T.A 3/ then when the new time frame comes in...pay aprrox 30£ pp to re arrange a new cruise in the time date we want... we have untill mid jan 2010 to cancel...but the new dates for later 2011 will not be out by then... choc56uk Posted June 29, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Reason for cancelling the carib cruise is that the cross atlantic flights are so expensive.....

You are still thinking of the old UK T&Cs - it is now £75pp to change ship/sail date, doesn't matter if it is more or less in cost now. And then if you change again that is another £75pp.... I think cut your losses now and then start from scratch. If you swap to a cruise then you are not entitled to any EBD or OBC they offer as you are not a 'new' booking. At todays exchange rate £100pp is actually $160.00pp

Hi Anita, could you not hold on to your booking for a while and keep an eye on the flight prices? They often drop when they've been out for a month or two.
