cc cruiser Posted September 7, 2009 #26 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Does the wine shop at Moll Adossat Terminal also sell Cokes? Has anyone had trouble taking them on board The Voyager? We usually take a few on board when we cruise in the Carribean, just wondering if they are just as laxed in Barcelona?
Rare HeinBloed Posted September 7, 2009 #27 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Does the wine shop at Moll Adossat Terminal also sell Cokes? yes - but it could be cheaper on the ship... I remember that we paid for a 6-pax of paper tissues 5 EUR... One can of Coke might be 2 EUR around (but cannot remember exactly - as we have not purchased): it was cheaper on the ship. Alcohol or mixers? If not, is the best place to pick some up @ the airport after arrival or in town? Thanks

Rare HeinBloed Posted September 13, 2009 #31 Share Posted September 13, 2009 I am boarding Brilliance next Saturday in Barcelona,- which terminal do I go to or there is only one? Mol Adossat Terminal A or B (distance maybe 150 yards to each other...). You will see it once you cross the bridge with your taxi/bus. Stay on the right window to identify. Thanks for getting me straight bob Bob - Try the RCI board to find out how strict they are about bringing alcohol onboard. Their official policy is that it's not allowed but you can get a gauge on the RCI board if it's actually enforced.
coldbird Posted September 13, 2009 #35 Share Posted September 13, 2009 Cannot remember - but regarding airport: need to know flight itinerary and airline. Regards, HeinBloed We are flying in on Aer Lingus From Dublin.
Rare HeinBloed Posted September 13, 2009 #36 Share Posted September 13, 2009 We are flying in on Aer Lingus From Dublin. Then you have on your flights only access to the TRAVEL VALUE Stores which are more expensive than the DUTY FREE Shops as it is intra-EU-sales. Which makes it less attractive to buy at the airport. debbymark Posted September 19, 2009 #38 Share Posted September 19, 2009 aer lingus won't have anything to sell on the plane. We bought at the duty free before boarding the ship. They told us it would be taken off us on boarding the ship but we put it in our carry on bag and no one said anything.
gbcruise Posted October 4, 2009 #39 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Can you find a 12 pack of coke in the liquor stores as well? If so what is the going euro? And does it taste the same as the coke in the US?

And does it taste the same as the coke in the US? There is a exchange office in the terminal. Honestly: I have always the impression that the Coke in Europe tastes different from the US - although for Coke itself it should not be. wack001 Posted October 7, 2009 #41 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Just got of the Brilliance, let me tell everyone the straight story, once you clear all the ship hoopla, you walk through a small area with a few shops, there are places to buy a bottle or two of wine , sodas, snacks and a few other items, you can then put them into carryon, no questions, easy and simple, It would be impossible to buy loads of stuff. cruisinbob.com

Thanks Excellent cruise, you might want to buy water at your port stops as the shops are a bit expensive. I just drink the on board water.
