Carnival Liberty - Eastern Caribbean

We're on the Liberty in August and I have a question for those who have sailed the Eastern Caribbean itinerary.

Since the forst port is Half Moon Cay (Bahamas) and then off to St. Thomas and San Juan (both USA), do they have you go through immigration procedures on the ship when you reach St. Thomas?

If so, how fast is this process?

I do remember having to do it once on the Glory and the process was surprisingly swift and painless!

Any first hand info would be appreciated.

Thanx!

Was on in May and did not go through any immigration processes.

Have a great trip!
