Appleton Estates Rum Tour

Has anyone been to Appleton Estates for the Rum Tour?

We went on the Appleton Rum tour last year. The bus ride to get there was horrible. It was very, very long and bumpy. The roads are quite narrow and the tight turns that made you say some prayers along the way. The tour was interesting and lunch was good. Lots of samples. It was a one time thing. I would not go back again even though the prices on the rum we purchased was good.

Where is this rum tour? Is it near Montego Bay?

We went on this tour in June. The ride is long, but you get to see Jamaica along the way. Makes you appreciate American roadways! We had a great driver and it was interesting. Can't beat the prices for the rum and I liked getting kinds that are not available in the US.
