Tampa port to airport

Is it cheaper to get from the port to the airport for two by cab or shuttle. How much does it cost?

 

Not cruising till November, but just getting information!

Shuttle is best. The SuperShuttle will take you for about $20...

I think the shuttles run somewhere around $10 to $12 per person; cab fare is a flat $25 per cab. For my tastes, the extra couple of dollars for the cab is worth it due to the convenience (no wandering around looking for the shuttle pickup, no waiting for other passengers to load the shuttle, etc).

For my money I have found a cab in Tampa to the airport both reasonable and much more convenient. I have done both cab and shuttle. I'll use a cab from now on :)

Taxi, taxi, taxi! The shuttles are not only a bit more costly, but not always that convenient and time-effective.

I agree....TAXI, TAXI, TAXI, TAXI when in Port of Tampa, $25 flat fee, fast, convienant, best deal out there. Why pay $18 per person through Carnival to be jammed onto a bus, sit on the bus while all the passengers are loaded up then schlepped over. Taxi is the best option in Port of TAMPA, period*.
