pinkaboo Posted July 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Help :-( Haven't been able to locate a shuttle to the pier from the East Stroudsburg/Kutztown/Allentown/Bethlehem PA area that doesn't cost $480.00 and up.. Since all of those areas are relatively close to one another, it would be ok leavig from any of those areas. Has anyone traveled from that area by means of nothing fancy, just a regular shuttle, Just looking to get from point A to point B at a moderate price. Thought it would be out of the way to take the train. I know East Stroudsburg is really close to New York, But for some reason, I'm not having any luck finding shuttle service. yst347 Posted July 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Martz Trailways operates regularly scheduled service from Notheastern Pa. to the Port Authority bus terminal in NYC. Cab fare from the bus terminal to the pier is less than $10. http://www.martztrailways.com/LocalFares.asp

imnance Posted July 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Transridge bus runs a bus to the pier daily. It's right off Airport Road in Allentown. Cost is 42.65. Long term parking in their lot is free for the first 3 days and 5.00 per day after that. 610-868-6001 This is how we got to NY in May and it was great. ILoveScotland Posted July 20, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Don't know the bus lines but do know that busses run into Port Authority as already mentioned. Then it's a short cab ride to the pier.
