A Christmas "poem" for all my cruise critic friends

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the subdivision

Not a creature was stirring, not even our dachshunds.

 

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care

with hopes that Santa would put our cruise docs in there.

 

My husband and I were snuggled deep in our bed

while visions of cruise ships danced in our heads.

 

Then out on the lawn there arose quite a clatter,

I rose from my bed to see what was the matter---

 

There was Santa dressed as Funship Freddy

And he shouted "your cruise is soon, are you ready?"

 

And I heard him exclaim as he disappeared from sight,

Happy cruising to all and hope the casino is not tight!

May all of your cruises be merry and just right!

Merry Christmas Iluvdoxies! Your poem just put the finishing touch on this cold and snowy day (12 degrees 14 inches of snow and ice) and gave me and my Jack Russell, Britney, (who stirs constantly) a great laugh~ having found my abiding love of the ocean very late in life makes it ever so much sweeter!
