Things to Do in Motril and Puerto Banus

Hello All -- We're considering a cruise that calls at these two ports. Presumably this is to enable day trips to Granada. We'd love to see Granada again, but a day trip seems rushed. But Motril seems to be unattractively industrial. Any suggestions for spending the day in or near either of these ports?
