Barcelona Glides Segway Tour

We are doing a segway tour and the tour operator tells us the meeting point is Sant Jaume Square in the middle of the gothic quarter. We are arriving via the Carnival Dream. Wondering if anyone knows how to get from the cruise terminal to this location. We could cab it but there are 8 of us so the bus or subway may be a better solution.

If there is not much of a queue, use the blue Portbus. This will take you to the Colom Monument at the bottom of Las Ramblas (€2 single, €3 return). Walk over the roundabout and straight up Las Ramblas. Keep going for about 5 -10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Liceu Metro station (there are glass encased lifts on Las Ramblas and a big white M in a red diamond at the station). About 50 yds before the metro station, take a right turn into Carrer de Ferran. Walk to the end of this (about 5 mins) and you are in Placa St Jaume. There are 2 old government buildings in this square, so should be obvious. I met our segway tour there, but there will also be Fat Tire bike tours there plus a few others. If you want the tourist office, it is in the far right corner as you come into the square. Assuming you get straight on to a bus, you should do it in 30-40 minutes.
