Does anyone know what the minimum cabin count is to be considered a group with Carnival?

8 cabins with double occupancy - 16 guests.

Not always are 8 staterooms required.... I have seen many sailings that are not selling as hoped and the the minimum dropped from 8 staterooms to 5 staterooms, but in general, 8 staterooms (dbl occupancy) is the requirement to be considered and booked thru the "Group Dept.".

There's actualy a 'points' system so if you have many suites, you get more points than insides for example.

If speaking of "ammenity points"... they are not offered on all sailings. And even if you have inside, oceanview, balcony or suites.... the ammenity points are the same....unless the ammenity point system has changed recently.

Each amenity point is worth $25 per cabin. You can take it as an OBC, a one hour cocktail party, strawberries/champagne, or a combination.
