sea pass account questions

Recommended Posts

We are cruising out next week on FOS and I am hoping some1 can answer a few quick questions about the sea pass account process. I know I can use cash, but what is the minimum we can use to start up? If we use a debit/visa card how much do they charge to start and do they charge daily or do they charge per use of the sea pass?

Help.... :-)

Can't help you with the deposit amount. You may want to call Royal Caribbean to confirm.

As to the use of a credit or debit card, it's been my experience that they run the charges through once a day. I used to work for a financial services company where I could see exactly when the charges went through on my account. Normally I would see an "approval" charge the first day (probably just confirming the account), then another one each day for that day's charges. The final actual charge would take a couple of days after the cruise was over, at which point all of the pre-approved charges would fall off.

Hope this helps!
