Cheap Pedicure in San Pedro??

We're arriving Saturday and overnighting at the Doubletree. Based on previous Embarktation experience, we have no urgency to arrive at the Terminal any earlier than 12:30 or 1:00PM. So while DH is burning off some pre-cruise calories at the hotel gym, I was wondering if there was a cheap nail salon within walking distance of the DT, that anyone have personally experienced and would recommend? It's really more for killing time while he's at the gym. And cheap is always good too.

I don't know of a place within walking distance, but I go to Rose Nails at 25th & Western. A spa pedicure (in the whirlpool massage chair) is $17, and a regular one is $13. The DT shuttle will take you anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel, but I don't know if they're all tied up during the morning with pier transfers.

D'oh! I knew the DT provided free shuttle service within 5 miles, but you're right about needing the shuttles Sunday morning for shuttling to the Terminal! I'll see if I can still finagle a ride if I make a very early pedi appointment, as I can't imagine the shuttles would be shuttling cruisers any earlier than 10-10:30, no? Thanks again!

im sure the hotel conciere could point you in the right direction..do they have a onsite parlor?
