While there are some interesting ruins, the primary attraction (for me, at any rate) is in nature walks, etc. A quite interesting petrified forest, lots of wildlife (some excellent birding)..that sort of thing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gosport11 Posted August 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2009 hi we spent a couple of weeks there a few years ago if you can try to get to molyvos a tourist town but vey nice also lesbos is worth a vist a nice beach and some ruined temples in fact the whole island has a lot of ruins,well worth a vist is the petrified forest and volcano musem we loved the island also a lot of hot springs/baths around the island .The port town is also very intresting if not a sad history,if you like ouzo its the place to buy it and vist distellery :):):) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
