Live from Orion - Auckland to Bali - Crossing Tasman Sea
So after a wonderful week in New Zealand , we are heading across the Tasman Sea. Last night was a bit bumpy; we have had a few bumpy nights on this cruise already. As Stretchcruz mentioned, we left Dunedin two hours late. Not sure if the ship was traveling faster last night to make up for the lost time, hence the rougher passage. There are a few white caps; I made sure that I put a patch on last night so that I wouldn’t get seasick. It’s hard for me walking around but folks seem to be OK. S
I sucked it up and did the Komodo Dragon tour. Included. About an hour and a half of walking. Yes, it was hot. There was more shade than I anticipated. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable and we had 2 guys with forked sticks to fight off the dragons. We saw lots of dragons and a few wild boars and some deer hanging out on the beach waiting to be eaten by a dragon. Lots of pretty foliage too. At one point in the hike he gave us the option to stop and rest while the rest of the group
