Best side of the ship

We are cruising New England and leaving from Boston. We will be in a balcony room and I am curious if one side of the ship is better than the other. It was important for us when we cruised Alaska so I am looking for input. Thank you!

I don't think it makes too much difference. The passages between ports of call are generally done at night and well off shore. For ports of call, you'll see one view entering a port and the other view leaving port. The only exception would be if the cruise included the St Lawrence River.

If you are a shipping enthusiast, as I am, the port side is the side to be. reason is, International law has it that ships must pass "port to port". So if you are on the portside you'll see any ships you pass coming down the portside.
