My View: A Caribbean Thanksgiving on Ascent (Semi-Live)
Hello from a “slightly cool” (downright freeeezing 🥶 for our Floridian blood) Sunshine State!

Our family of 3 is about to board our next adventure - our first on the Edge class.  As borderline skeptics, hopeless Pollyanna-variety optimists and avid conspiracy theorists, we had do our own research to eventually give you our verdict on the Infinite Veranda.

Georgia Peaches hits the High Seas for a 20th Wedding Anniversary Cruise…Seascape…Yacht Club…November 23-30th…Live!
Greetings all!
Join me as we embark on the beautiful MSC Seascape in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary! Our love story began with a blind date on February 13, 2004 and quickly led to I-do’s just a few months later when we tied the knot in beautiful Jamaica on November 23, 2004.  A second marriage for us both, with each of us throwing a beautiful daughter into the mix, our adventurous life journey began.  And what a blessing that journey has been!

Ninjacat123 and Charleston say farewell to Sunshine! LIVE Nov 28 to Dec 2, 2024 🦃
Hi fellow CC members! It’s a sad day in Ninjacatville knowing Sunshine is departing Charleston for Norfolk, VA but the bright spot is that we (Craig, Cat, Sky and I) get to spend Thanksgiving on her one last time.

**LIVE** from the Sun Princess: A Family's Experience in the Sanctuary – 7-Night Western Caribbean – November 23-30, 2024
After a week in the Retreat solo on the Celebrity Apex, I met with my wife and kids this morning to board the Sun Princess!

This Thanksgiving 7-day sailing will have port calls in Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel... So a great blend of sea days and port days.

Pirate’s LIVE On Vista November 30-December 8, 2024
Hello, Carnival Family!

It’s me, Steph, back to take you on another “Live” adventure as you await your turn to sail the 7 seas. This review may not be as “live and in-the-moment” as some of my others, as we are sailing with our “cruise family” (we got a cruising grandma and grandpa and a cruising aunt and uncle….long story, not enough energy to type it out) and I want to enjoy my time with them as this is our yearly meet-up, and next year we won’t get one.

LIVE from Seascape 12\7-12\14 by an MSC newbie- Fantastica Balcony
I'm going to do my best to do at least 1-2 posts a day from our cruise on Seascape in 2 weeks. I will be sailing with my wife and 12 yr old son.  We are Royal Caribbean regulars, but almost TWO years ago I booked this cruise because it was such a great deal for a Fantastica Balcony room. We were originally booked for this past September, but ended up with two other cruises (including our first Princess cruise) over the summer and it was just too much- so we used one of the Fantastica perks, and moved the cruise back to December for no charge.

"Live" Majestic Princess, 12/1/24 to 1/21/25, 51 Days, LA to Ft Lauderdale via South America
Was I not just doing this the other day?  Deja vu!  We just finished semi-unpacking from our Coral Princess cruise and are packing again!

On Sunday, December 1st, we will board the Majestic Princess in San Pedro for the voyage around South America to Ft Lauderdale.  We just returned from a 32-day voyage on the Coral Princess, Singapore to LA.  This is the shortest period of time we have ever had between long trips.  We will be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time with our family which is kind of strange.

OK on the Gem: Dec 2-11 Panama Canal sort of live
I’m starting this early, as it is turning into quite the mini-adventure.   I booked this cruise in August.  I had a leftover Cruise Next Certificate and a Mastercard gift card to burn, so my solo Obstructed Oceanview (category OK, deck eight) for 9 days came out to less $800 out of pocket.

Semi Live Review of Oasis of the Seas 11/24 Tday Cruise
Hi, I'm Susie and I've done several reviews before but normally on Celebrity (aside from that 1 horrific cruise on MSC YC that I still have PTSD over). This will be my 34th cruise.

So here I am doing a semi live review because I cannot commit to posting on a regular basis so you get what you get when you get it. This time I'm sailing with my friend Cheryl, who I haven't seen in over 4 years so we have some catching up to do.

Almost Live From Azamara Journey - Nov. 20 - Dec. 3 2024
My husband and I board the Journey tomorrow in Miami for a 13 night Caribbean cruise. I won't be posting pictures but I'd be happy to answer any questions about sailing on Journey right now.

Our first Journey cruise was in August 2008.

Live NCL Prima December 11-21, 2024 NYC to Northern Caribbean
Feels like I was just doing one of these, but I’m back again. Far and away our quickest turnaround from one cruise to the next but this was our regularly scheduled cruise booked well in advance and not on a last minute, emergency basis.

Nov. 22 - Dec. 6 - Caribbean Adventures Live
Hi there everyone…

Currently sitting in a rooftop bar in Miami getting excited as tomorrow we board Explora 2 for our last holiday of the year,  for a two week jaunt around the Western Carribean.

We booked this last year on the 9 night cruise we had on Explora 1  as a Black Friday deal then ended up being further deeply discounted when we transferred to our UK TA.

QM2 to Caribbean - Nov 20 - Dec 3 - On Board Reporting
Day 1 (Embarkation) 20 Nov 2024

Back aboard QM2 two years to the day we celebrated our honeymoon.  Back in September, we noticed the discounts offered for a sailing soon aboard QM2 and realized that the dates were exactly those of 2022, Nov 20-Dec3.  The 2022 sailing was our honeymoon and while the ports are the same as well, the order has changed.  We decided to book and so far, are having a great time.

QA Atlantic Coast Adventure, H429, 17/11/24
Looking forward to my second trip on QA.  Safely on the train at Waterloo, now for a slightly longer (2 hour) train journey to Southampton via Havant.  I’ll add some posts with my thoughts as the trip progresses.

🐧 🛳️ Live Sapphire Princess Nov 13 - Dec 18th FLL to Buenos Aires (including Antarctica) 35 nights

This title could also be called “OMG - I am going to see Antarctica”. This has been on my bucket list forever. Or “how I planned a South American cruise on 3 weeks notice”.

Not sure how “live” this will be. My sea days are pretty boring (reading my Kindle) and I don’t have much to report unless someone wants my book list (just kidding). Once we hit the South American ports, things are happening pretty quickly. I will try to update it but some may have to wait for Christmas break.

Light Hearted Ramblings and Reflections on QM2 TA West Bound Nov 13-20
Pre-Embarkation Musing

Guess what? I’m currently relaxing in a Southampton hotel, all set to embark on the Queen Mary 2 tomorrow! After almost a year of planning and preparation, much of it spent reading countless Cunard threads on CC and watching endless YouTube videos, I thought I’d share my thoughts and experiences on this epic crossing!

Semi-Live from the Royal Princess - New Zealand round-trip from Sydney, 14 days, Nov. 16-30, 2024
Hello everyone!! We are flying out to Sydney tonight, and I am SO excited to be live-blogging this cruise. I've really enjoyed reading other people's Live threads, and now I get the chance to do my own! I'll be traveling with my mom, and we're coming all the way from California for this journey. 😄 It will be our first time in both Aus and NZ as well as my first time on another continent. This is our first time on the Royal Princess, but we aren't strangers to cruising Princess in general. It's also the longest cruise I've ever taken!

Jim_Iain - Live from Silhouette TransAtlantic November 16
I decided to start a new thread for the TransAtlantic Silhouette.     I will try to stay on topic with a live but as many of you know me I will definitely go off topic.    I will interject comparisons with Ponant, Cunard and Oceania.

Whogo Live from Volendam, 42 days, November 9, 2024
I know what you're thinking. “Oh, not again. Can't Whogo stay home?” We will see how long I can write this drivel. We will see how long you can read this drivel. You are setting yourself up for disappointment if you think it will get better. Ask yourself if you really want to invest your time in this blog, get out before you feel obligated to see it through.

Live from the Rotterdam 12-Day Caribbean - 11/17/24
This begins a live thread from Rotterdam's 12 days in the Caribbean.  As all of my previous threads, this will be informative rather than entertaining.  Facts, observations, impressions, and answers will prevail, Over the years, I have collected lots of questions from CC members and I will be pursuing their answers again.  As on every cruise, I will be posting all of the current dining and beverage menus, as well as daily programs.  A CC member asked about the temperature of the hot tubs and I brought my infrared thermometer to find the answer.  While I am measuring stuff, I will report the temps of the minibar, pools, and any other requested locations/things.  Since I do not shoot JPG photos with my camera, my RAW photos require processing before sharing.  Although my photos may not appear in this thread, I will create a full Rotterdam photo gallery.
