Newlyweds under age 21

my grandson & his fiancé both under 21, will be married & want to go on a cruise for their honeymoon within1-2 days after wedding. Can they just present their marriage certificate that is signed the day of marriage at embarkment & that will be sufficient ? They won't have time to send to state to become official. Are all cruise lines the same rules? This shouldn't be that unusual to be under 21 &want to leave on a cruise for honeymoon . Who knows for sure, no guesses please, thanks

Do an internet search "age requirement xxxxxx (cruise line). I looked at RCCL, Carnival and NCL which all explain their policies.

Exceptions: Guests under the age of 21 may travel without a relative or guardian of 25 years of age or older under the following conditions:

Legally married couples, including same gender couples

• Documentation includes: marriage license issued by the County Clerk’s Office; legal proof of civil union; for newly married couples: a copy of the marriage license application or certificate signed by the official that performed the ceremony.
  

Whatever they do, they should book in the names on their present IDs. Not enough time for name changes.
