Unlike previous times I've done this, the excursion continued to show "reserved" for at least a couple of hours; I stopped checking at that point because I was asleep. If I tried to book anyway, I got a message that I was already booked on an excursion at that time. (I tried refreshing the page, logging out and back in, checking on another device, etc.) Maybe Celebrity is changing the speed at which cancellations are processed to keep people from doing exactly this?

    Most interestingly, there was a period late last night where the page for the excursion listed the lower price when I was logged out, but when I logged in it showed the higher price. I'm not sure what to make of that.

     

    Today the excursion no longer shows as "reserved" when I log in, but it's back to the old price, whether I'm logged in or not. Oh well.

    I had that too last week, took about 20 minutes to finally clear so I could rebook at the cheaper price. I was on edge thinking I'd lost out on the excursion whilst trying to save some money. Didn't do that a couple of months ago

  2. It was fine as we were a family group on a table for 6, also it was a round table so there was distance between the tables, waiters were the same throughout

    We had the same as yourself on QM2, just disembarked today, fixed early dining on deck 3 when the rest were open dining.

    Thanks for clarifying. We would hate first sitting as it would be far too early for us, so that’s a relief to hear that you had requested it. We don’t tend to do much of the evening entertainment (other than perhaps the 10.30pm show), so a late meal is our main evening entertainment 😂 

    We find the late sitting just a bit too late. We went to epicurean one evening so much food but wonderful- couldn't do anything else afterwards!!!

    Totally agree, she is creepy. I had the same issue,  have posted above #8

We had good food on Ventura back in April,  but our tablemates had spoken with others who had had poor food.  We had requested table for 2 but got table for 8 on first sitting ,  all good company but have gone for freedom dining next cruise and cross our fingers we don't have too many problems

    I had to do that this this afternoon after I booked by telephone ( had to do this to get BLC onboard credit) when they had created another pensinular number for my husband.  No longer is option 1,2,3 etc but a voice asking why I was calling which couldn't understand me saying 'a query about new booking'. Then had the cheek to say were very busy and ring back another day! On saying new booking it rang and was  answered almost immediately
