  1. I understand where you're coming from. But to me, who had three cabins, $150 for getting your bags a few hours earlier was not worth it. My backpack is toteable. But to each his own. I guess it's nice to have the option though.

  2. Call me a lone voice in the wilderness but last Saturday 8/9 I parked there and it was absolutely AWFUL. There had to be 300-400 people waiting for the small shuttles to come. Poorly staffed. Will not park there again. And I'm not much of a complainer. Will park at the port next time.

  3. On board the Liberty now. Finally. I used the parking lot adjacent to the radisson. Parking address is 8600 astronaut way. (A1A). Place is HORRIBLE. Lined us up like cattle in the humid heat to be shuttled to the port on small buses. Must have been 350 people waiting for the port shuttle at approx. 1100 am. Three lines. Two for carnival and one for Disney. Shuttles came every 10- 15 minutes. When one came, one line would load 15 people or so. I ended up googling and calling a taxi. Just felt obliged to let my fellow cc'ers know. Was going to park AT the port but figured because the ship does not come back to the same dock, it wasn't worth the extra cash. Boy, was I wrong. I would never park there again and the wise will hear my warning.

  4. I usually book 6 months or less out. I have never booked my next cruise while on a ship either. Someone in this thread mentioned there is no more future cruise credit. Is that true? There are no advantages to booking a next cruise while on board? And lastly someone else mentioned that they book early and pay it off over time. Can that be done? Sorry I don't mean to hijack the thread but I'm a curious guy.

  5. Hi all, will be on the liberty 8/9 and my 75 yo mom asked me how much tip do you give for room service. Having never used it I wasn't sure what the answer was. Can someone let me know please. And whilst on the topic of food, I love fettuccini Alfredo -- is that available on the liberty? Thanks and so excited!

  6. My family and I are driving to Port Canaveral for a cruise on 8/9 aboard the Liberty. As I booked today I was unable to get FTTF because it was sold out. My plan is to try to be at the terminal at approx. 10 am. Is this too early, or because I'm there early I'll get on earlier. What do you experienced cruisers do?
