Thanks! We're definitely leaning toward the Dream. Now the question is... the aft suite with the giant balcony or the grand suite midship?

Thanks everyone for the helpful comments. And while I do prefer Royal, I feel that with all the issues that are coming up in regards to Enchantment, we may be better off in a suite on Carnvial.

Hello --
We are doing a 5-day cruise out of Galveston in September. Our choices are a regular balcony on Royal's Enchantment of the Seas or either a Premium Vista (aft) Balcony or an Ocean Suite on Carnival's Dream. We've sailed both lines before (Liberty of the Seas on Royal and several Conquest class ships on Carnival). Which would you select and why? Thanks!

Awesome! We go from Monday - Saturday but I imagine it's pretty much the same. So, a huge thank you for doing this. Hope you had a great cruise!

cameo -- great site! Thanks. Is one better than the other? For example, it says I can book at the Port of Galveston for a reasonable $40 for the week. Is that the closest? Is it better to choose another one? Too many choices!

Hi All --
Last thread on this that I could find was 2012. We're driving down and need to park for the cruise. Do I need to make advance reservations anywhere? If so, are there any current recommendations? Many thanks.

I'm just curious....the package states that you can have drinks that cost up to $50/per. What drink costs that much?

There are several of us on the Liberty Thanksgiving cruise and we've got a "Meet and Mingle" thread going. Feel free to join in over there. I know they're planning an on-board cocktail meet and greet.
Chef's Table: Notifying Someone About a Non (Red) Meat Eater
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Hi All --
We have signed up for the Chef’s Table on our upcoming cruise aboard the Carnival Dream.. Who do I notify that one of the members of our party does not eat red meat? Last time I sent an email to eventplanning@carnival.com but this time around I'm just getting a automated reply. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks!
