Are there shuttle buses to take guests to and from the ship into the main part of Perfect Day CocoCay?

Hi all!

Saw a post suggesting that we can now leave the ship independently again. 
 

Is this the case for all ships, some ships or is this information completely false?

We are in that horrible predicament of having an under 5 travelling with us, so is unvaccinated, but all adults are vaccinated. We would ideally like our own day when we are in St. Martin (but totally understand if that isn’t doable - just hopeful!)

Sorry for the delay in responding/bumping up an old thread (hospital stay 🙄) but thank you so much for bringing us with you! It was an emotional read, seeing what the MDR servers were saying. I often do a few specialty dining restaurants but actually I might give some the swerve on my next cruise.

How do we ensure nobody except our party goes in our Cabana?

Sorry to jump on this topic, but I am looking at one of the Thrill waterpark cabanas and have a couple of questions:

1. How do we choose which specific cabana we want?

2. Does someone have to be in the cabana all day?

3. How do RC/we ensure nobody other than the party access our cabana?

I am looking to book a cruise Summer 2021 and ideally want to stay loyal to royal but I’ve noticed there are no cruises sailing from Fort Lauderdale. Is this right? Are they due to add any?

Would this tour be suitable for guests who don't like hiking or snorkelling? Are the tours tailored to each individual guests needs?

I was not aware of my own actions in the past as to whether I avoided people in wheelchairs or not but from reading the forum here about people needing to be sensitive in treating the disabled kindly had been so helpful. On our last Celebrity cruise, I went out of my way to not only give priority to physically disabled guests, especially with the elevators, but to block others from cutting in front of them. I was embarrassed by the many thank-yous. If we can all be more considerate, we share a better world.

I understand this viewpoint; I would never have thought about how I was coming across even though I don't go out of my way to be rude, inconsiderate or ignorant towards any fellow passenger. I would emphasise this to the original poster and hope that they do not tar all "able" guests with the same brush. I hope future vacations have kinder passengers on board.

Actually I'd like to add that all ports are subjective to each cruiser and whilst you will get fabulous tips from everyone, you should pick the cruise itinerary you think would suit you best. Just because I suggest something doesn't mean to say everyone likes it in the same way that I know people like Cozumel which as you know I'm not a fan of. Whichever itinerary you choose it will be better than a day at work that's for sure :)
