  1. I'm glad to hear that so many of you waiting for a full refund are finally receiving them.

It's been 122 days since we requested refund of our pre-paid daily service charges but nothing yet.  I've received a couple of emails similar to those posted above.    It's just $203, so maybe they are prioritizing those who are waiting for larger amounts.

It’s been 120 days since we cancelled our prepaid DSC and we’ve heard nothing from NCL. When I call them, they say the refund is pending. I know it’s a small amount compared to what others are waiting for (in our case it’s $435 as it was a 15 day cruise) but that’s no reason to make us wait indefinitely, in my opinion.

Ours was only for the gratuities that I cancelled on March 14, 116 days and nothing yet.  I am going to go through the credit card company!

We're still waiting for the gratuities we cancelled on March 11...almost 4 months ago now.  Good luck with your credit card company.

  3. I am Canadian and I have the same issues as the OP.  I get the error message when I try to login to my account on the US site and I can't access my cruise on the Canadian site, although I am able to login to my account.  However, on the US site, I am able to access my cruise using the booking number and first and last name.  Hope this helps!!

  4. My husband and I fell for this on the Dream. It would have been okay if they wrangled you into Bingo if you actually had to figure out clues, but nope, if you went to Bingo or a talk, they gave you who was not the killer. By the end of the last talk or $3,000 super Bingo, every person playing knew who the killer was. It was like Christmas Story, we were "Ovaltine'd".

    How disappointing. :(

  5. I got the same email and was wondering the same thing!! I found this on Carnival's website:

Clue/Cluedo will have two main events and Clue Reveals throughout the cruise. The event will start with The Murder Mystery in the main lounge, complete with costumes, larger than life props, videos and scripted performances. There will be activities throughout the cruise for you to gain clues. The final experience will be at The Reveal – bring your raffle ticket with the name of the murderer and find out if you solved this murder mystery on the high seas!

We're on the Vista in January and can't wait to play!!

  6. Never stayed in an inside on the BA, but we did stay on deck 5 in an OV and loved the location. One deck down to disembark in port, and one deck up to 678, the hotspot of the ship. We have stayed in an inside on the Gem/jewel, and it was very doable, but I believe the BA insides are a little smaller. Great location tho.

    Safe sailing

Thank you spidybabe for the helpful information about the location. Just one question...did you find the cabin quiet or noisy, especially at night?

Thanks to everyone else for the helpful information about the inside cabins.

  7. I've done this excursion.

We were dropped at the mall a bit before it opened. Your cases are kept on the bus. One of the stores is open with refreshments; maps are available as are coupons :)

There's a Starbucks there with free wi fi. You get plenty of time to visit the stores and do some last minute shopping before heading home.

Hi Linda. Do you remember what time you were picked up at the port and what time you were dropped off at the Fort Lauderdale airport? Thanks!!

  8. I just got back today. Had a great cruise, with surprisingly good weather. Never thought we would be able to sit up at the pool deck yesterday, but it was beautiful. A little too cool for swimming in the pools for me, but wonderful for shorts.

I didn't get a chance to look at the restaurants yet. Have you booked anything? Email me at gailmh at Hotmail dot com

    Welcome back! I emailed you.

  9. gaylemh - I'm going solo on the April 24, 2015 Quantum of the Seas sailing too. Don't cancel...I'll have dinner with you! :)

As a solo traveller, I like traditional dining because you have the same tablemates every night. With dynamic dining, I'm sure we will be put at a table with others but we obviously won't be dining with the same people every night.

Maybe we should start a solo travellers roll call for our sailing?
