  1. I can't speak much about liberty as I have never sailed on Royal Caribbean but heard that they were beautiful ships. However, I always sail with Carnival bc my kids love camp carnival and their waterworks. I was just on the Breeze in March and I was very impressed. I would not say that it looked its age at all.

  2. We have fttf, so we plan to drop bag, slip into something comfy and go find where we buy Cheers...we will be on the Triumph, lido deck, where should we head? Also, do I need to take a credit card to pay for it or does it get charged to S&S card? Thanks!

You can purchase it at the atrium bar, casino bar and the mid ship pool area bar and they apply the payment to your S&S card.

  3. Times for getting off the ship can vary. If you want to get off as quick as possible then I recommend heading down to the gangways ASAP. They only let you go down so far as they have some areas roped off but just letting you know to make it down as quick as you can upon arriving the port because the line to get off her ridiculously long. Now you can get off the ship before others if you have purchased an excursion for that port.

You will usually be asked to be back on the ship at least 30 minutes to an hour prior to sail off time. However, they do give people time to get back on. I've been on cruises where not everyone had aboard the ship by 6 and they start to call the people's names on the intercom. They do this several times. If they don't hear from you, they will leave you.

  4. There is an alcohol one and it is called the "cheers beverage program". You can purchase them at the Atrium Bar, Casino Bar or the bar at the main pool area. The cost of this program is $50 plus 15% gratuity that's added on at the time of purchase per person per day and is limited to 15 drinks a day. Now this does include all wine, beer and liquor but only with a $10 or lower menu price.

In addition to this program, you are entitled to:

25% discount off the menu price for bottled water

25% discount off the menu price for any alcohol that is above $10

25% discount off the menu price for wine and champagne by the bottle.

  5. The only area where they really enforce a strict dress code is at your formal dinners and the captain's dinner. All other areas around the ship you can dress pretty relaxed. Swim wear all the time if you'd like.
