:)Hi we have cruised with P&O, Royal and Carnival but next February will be our first with MSC. We have a balcony cabin and hopefully first sitting for dinner.
Do we need to know anything else; are there formal nights? Are the additional gratuities added?
Also any other tips.....
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the tips I'll look on cruise personaliser for the excursions xx

Thanks for the quick response. Really looking forward to the cruise and trying P&O.

Hi
Me, husband and 4yo are booked on the Fjords cruise in August. We have been assigned cabin c741.
We have previously cruised with Carnival round the med and Royal to the canaries. Any tips for us with P&O? I'm liking the fact I can take wine onboard, without feeling like I'm smuggling it in!
Would like some advice on cabin, kids club and some port ideas esp Bergen and Olden?
I have joined the roll call but there are only 2 of us on it so far.
Thanks in advance

Thanks all. I have prepaid grats but last question do staff prefer euros or dollars for tips as we go throughout the hol?

Hi we cruise to the canaries next week from Southampton and wondered what currency is used on board for the onboard account as we will have euros for spending money but f we had some left could we settle the account in euro or is it all us dollars?

Thanks for these they have made me sooooo excited for a Royal cruise looks a lot busier than when we went on Carnival.
How different usually are these when travelling round Europe?

Our cruise went price went down £400 so I called up. They said the only thing I (they) could do is cancel and rebook so I lost our original deposit of £150 (total as it was an offer in Jan) then rebooked so saved £250 still and still got given the room we had been allocated as part of the guarantee inside? I think it's crazy that in the UK they don't just try and do something about the booking you have already done and they'd rather you start again.

This is a great review thanks so much and has really helped me to understand the Adventure Ocean kids activities.

Ok thanks all. I will try and speak to them and I still have a few weeks before I have to pay in full so will keep an eye on the prices.

Hi
The title outlines the issue I just wondered if this happens can I call to say I want the reduced price or do Royal just give obc? Thanks in advance

Hi
We are heading on this cruise but with a 3 year old in tow so no nightclubbing necessary for us. I would say based on our last cruise with carnival (party ship) around the med that it will be an older crowd rather than mid 20's, but this shouldn't put you off if you want to experience cruising and the islands.

Thanks for this it's been lovely to read all the information available you have been so helpful

Thanks. We have only paid the deposit so far. In the UK there is a buy one get one half price offer. As we are a couple and child (3yo) there are only a certain number of rooms we could have been given.
I don't know if this will be a problem as on our last cruise neither of us suffered with motion apart from bay of biscay but that was only movement not actual feeling ill.
I do however have a further question because on the deck plan this shows as an interconnecting room does this add to noise in the room if doors are thin or gaps around doors as obviously we won't be having both rooms?
Maybe we will get the option to upgrade a little or I might enquire nearer the time.
Thanks for all the tips though. I'm just excited to be on a RC CRUISE with the added bonus of kids club for our little boy (who is fully potty trained!)

Hi we booked on Monday a RCCL canaries cruise and booked an inside gty we have already been allocated 6215 (there is me husband and little boy of 3). It doesn't seem a bad location. Anyone know if it's good or bad?
Also what is the likely hood of this being charged between now and the cruise in June?
Also any other tips for this boat or RCCL in general as we have only ever been on the carnival sunshine once before.
Thanks in advance
