Hi, Just off the Royal Princess ex Sydney. The P&E lounge was held most night in Vista Lounge. Not sure of the prices as I didn't attend. Hopefully someone replies soon for you.

Currently on Royal Princess - asked my steward on Embarkation day. It was there, lovely and clean on day 2.

Have the Normal Love desserts all finished on Princess Cruises now? I asked our waiter last night at dinner, as I'm currently on the Royal Princess, and he said the contract had finished?
Does anyone else have any further info? -
Hello, I always enjoy reading your Live Froms... thanks for taking the time again. Happy Sailing 🙂

Thanks so much! Yes that converts to same as the AUD prices online. I'll treat myself when i'm onboard using OBC. Glad I don't need to go to Spa to buy it and potentially get hasseled to purchase other products or treatments.

Hi,
Is Princess Cruises still using and selling onboard Elemis Beauty Products in the Spa?
I'm specifically looking to purchase - Pro-Collogen Marine Cream.
Its beautiful but not available for sale in Australia.
I will be cruising with Royal Princess in October and want to stock up if its still available.
Would be great if I could find out the cost in either AUD or USD to help with budgeting.
Thanks!

Hi,
Does anyone know if P&O offer the Gin and/or Whisky Masterclasses on Pacific Explorer 4 night cruises?
Thanks in advance

Recently took my first solo cruise to New Zealand. I'd booked anytime, table 8.
On my first night, when I got to the front to the line (7.45pm) the Matre De ask me how many in my party, and I had to admit 1. I could see the shock on his face, so I quickly added "find me a table with nice people please". It turned out to be 8 seat table with only 7 and the empty seat was next to me. The following night he remembered me and again, table of 8, with the empty seat next to me. Upon leaving the dining room that night, I had a chat / joke on the way out and asked the Matre de not to leave the seat next to me empty and I didn't care who sat there. Night three - he had somehow waved his magic wand, and found a similar aged, solo guy. We got along like a house on fire. His table mates came over to asked why he wasn't with them that night? I didn't want to admit it was due to me. LOL.
As I left that night, I hugged the Matre de and gave him a big thank you. From then on, the tables some how merged, half of my regulars and half of the other Solos regulars.
Dinners turned out to be a highlight of my cruise, as well as being able to do your own thing all day, everyday!.

Recently attended the final performance on Golden Princess. It was standing room only with people sitting on stairs. Excellent night of entertainment which I think ran about 15 mins overtime and had people rushing for their dinner reservations. None of my table mates attended, but I was raving about it. Great addition to Princess cruises entertainment.

Loving your review.

Any Solos 22 Dec 2018 - Golden Princess - New Zealand - ex Melbourne?

I haven't looked for ages? We got married on Diamond Princess and in the lead up I used to check them all every single day. On our wedding day everyone at home in Australia was able to log in and see us.
-
Hi any chance you are going to finish this?
-
Thanks Bob, will keep checking back. Hope all is ok with them both.

Just checking if the last post was about a gastro outbreak article from SG007 as I can't see anything after this post #129.
-
Thanks Ondine, I might just do that, as I just spoke to P&O and they said "adding a passenger will be subject to availability" which makes sense - if the cruise is running 100% full they can't just go adding passengers in.
I think you suggestion is good, as at least that way, they don't miss out.

Hi,
Does anyone know if I book a cabin on my own, can I add another passenger in to the same cabin down the track?
I'm looking at Pacific Eden.
Thanks

Hi, First time RCI cruiser! Looking forward to our Ovation of the Seas cruise in November, 2017, when she heads back to Australia.
There is not much chatter about Ovation on here, I presume due to the ship being in China?
Can anyone tell me if there are Soy Milk options for coffee onboard. We will be taking the Drinks Package.
Thanks!

What am I going to do on my lunch breaks now??? Dave, thanks so much, I've loved reading your blog and found it when you were here in Adelaide, South Australia. We went down to see the ship when you were in port and that night when the rain was pouring and the wind was howling, I was thinking of you guys and wondering how you were getting on. That is how I found your blog.. So I went right back to day one and started reading. Sadly today I have finished. Thanks so much, I've loved every minute, you've inspired me to see more of my country.

On my wedding cruise (Sydney to Beijing). We took a pile off stuff off whilst in Darwin and posted home to Adelaide. The wedding was over by then and we were in honeymoon mode. By the way, Princess did a wonderful job of cleaning my wedding dress :-)
