Maybe this is a stupid question but is a B2B as easy as it sounds.. two cruises going either to the same places or different places, on the same ship, right after one another?

I'm interested in learning more about this.. Is there any kind of extra or is it just the feeling of a much longer cruise?

As I stated in my original post that this is my first B2B. These two cruises go to the West and East Caribbean so it is two different cruises. Princess advertised these two as a 14 day cruise but then they put the two separate 7 day cruises on sale so I saved a lot of $ doing them separate.

The other advantage is the first cruise made me Platinum so the next leg I will have a better status.

This will be our first B2B on the Caribbean Princess on 9/6.

I know we have to get out of our room when we get back to port but do we have to disembark? Do they supply a place to 'hang out'?

We will be in Port Canaveral the 1st week in

March on Grandeur and we are undecided as to which one to go to.
