  1. When you reserve shows online, do you immediately receive an e-mail confirmation or is it printed on your cruise reservation that you reserved your show and then do you have to bring the paper to the show with you?

You will "check out" similar to making restaurant reservations but since the entertainment reservations don't cost anything you will get to an order confirmation page immediately after making them (if they are available). You will also get email confirmation and it will be added to your itinerary for that day. I believe as long as they are made (3-5?) days ahead of sailing they will show up on your itinerary (which includes the schedule you would see on your room's tv)..

You will not need to bring the paper to the show.

  2. Can we purchase multiple drink packages? My fiancée and I are thinking of purchasing the soda package and an alcohol package but we only want the alcohol one for one or two days and the soda one for all 5 days.

    Thanks! :)

The more expensive packages include (most if not all of) the drinks in the lesser expensive packages..

  3. Note that the $6.50 per day price for the Refreshment package will have 15% added for gratutity. All the other unlimited packages include the gratuity in their posted price.

    Good to know - thanks

I'm still on the fence about the Coca-cola package myself - I drink just enough to break even or save a few $$.. Does anyone recall how much individual (coca-cola) drinks are w/o the package? I thought I read something like 2.50 a can but that was awhile back..

  4. Refresh- $6.50 (?) per day... Not 100%

    Replenish- $20.00 per day

    Select- $40.00 per day

    Premium- $55.00 per day

    Ultimate- $65.00 per day

$6.50/day is correct - The "Royal Refreshment" package is the Coca-Cola package listed on page 2.

  5. Great tips and suggestions! Thanks hardinggrad!! Do the hidden balconies have a door with some type of sign on them? My mother is in a wheelchair so would these balconies be a good viewing place for her too? Better than the theatre for the water/diving shows? Are there seats on the balconies?

    Thanks!!

My son's in a wheelchair' date=' so I'm interested in this answer as well.[/quote']

The railing posts and railing are the only obstructions (as the rest is glass).. just like the room's balcony railings.. i would think it would be just fine to watch from a wheelchair.. they probably have areas in the aqua theater for wheelchairs during shows though..

Here is a video showing the hallway and balcony :)

  6. Hi Bubbles, haven't seen you around lately. How are the kitties down at the trailer park? All joking aside where in Minnesota are you? I have travelled the northern parts from Duluth to Grand Forks on a few occasions.

I am interested in Quantum and Anthem, but not till they sailed out of somewhere warmer.

The kitties should be good - they have food mountain to keep them going for awhile... just as long as Lahey doesn't get liquored up and board up the kitty door on my shed.

I'm just north (15 minutes) of the Twin Cities - We've enjoyed multiple (sold-out) TPB shows when they come to town.. Cant wait for Season 8!

Isn't Quantum/Anthem always going to be coming out of New Jersey? They have a 11 night Eastern Caribbean cruise in Feb 2015 that looks pretty decent..

  7. Great review - really enjoyed the pics and advice - I'm looking forward to enjoying the same in a few weeks!

We are going to be skipping the alcohol packages so that we don't have to keep up just to break even.. We would have to drink 7x $6 beers a day for 7 days just to break even on the Select package.. but I do like the changes they've made for 2014 (new packages/no longer does everyone in a cabin need to purchase it)..
