  1. 6 cruises all in September/October.  Our itinerary has been affected by a hurricane but wherever we end up or go it was always great weather.  I wouldn't let October deter you, just anticipate you may not go to the ports you chose.

  2. It's in the Return to Service FAQ section:

    Where can I get a COVID-19 test?

In order to provide more testing options for our guests, Carnival is sharing these resources:

    • Self-administered telehealth COVID-19 tests have been approved by the CDC for vaccinated guests to satisfy the pre-cruise testing requirement. The test must have Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA and the self-test process must happen under live supervision on a video call with a telehealth representative. The telehealth provider must issue you a result document that includes all the necessary information. The result document must be presented at the time of check-in. Fully vaccinated guests may consider using an Abbott BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test which includes a viral antigen home test and the services of an eMed telemedicine professional who will supervise the administration of the home test and provide your results in 15 minutes. Test kits ship to all 50 states and arrive at your door in three business days or less. Order Now Indicates external site which may or may not meet accessibility guidelines. Opens in a new window..

It's a tragedy on many levels. DD did the right thing by getting tested.  The "exposure coworker" does not believe in vaccinations, thinks its a government hoax and would not take a covid test as was requested by office  management.  I am in awe she even reported to her office that her husband is sick with it.

Insert my DD ,who was tested, asymptomatic, was positive, took another test 4 days later that came out negative. I am negative, her mom. The 8 people that she identified that she came into contact with all miraculously were able to get rapid tests, all being negative. Our 48 hour tests most likely will be negative as we have quarantined.

If all this goes downhill because of an unvaxxed person who believes its a hoax and was negligent in her mask wearing at the office,  I am going to be freaking pissed.

Our 72 hour questionaire is tomorrow. We will be honest in it and see what happens. 4 covid cancellations under my belt already and 2 years since my last sailing. I still know that the hassles were going to be worth it but never, ever saw this coming.

That's beyond frustrating and such a huge let down 😞

Sending happy thoughts your way that you can get it all worked out.

It wasn't lost, you got exactly what you booked. You received $600 for an 8-night cancelled cruise. You booked a 4-might cruise that got cancelled. 4-night cruises get $300 OBC. You should have booked a longer cruise if you wanted a larger OBC if it was cancelled. This is where the customer needs to understand the policies.

Could not agree more.  Even $300 is a better return vs. any savings account these days.

That was what I was referring to as being confusing. I order the frozen drink on Cheers, then the other drink (the floater) on my S&S card as a payment. So far, it is not clear. Some say you can some say you can't.

Unfortunately not every bartender will know every policy, or is every policy clearly interpreted the same way by everyone.  Hopefully you'll get lucky and there won't be an issue and they will not make you wait the 5 minutes 🙂

This relates to buying a round for friends and the question was about a drink for themselves outside the Cheers program which causes me no end of confusion since your only limited to 15 drinks regardless of whether you have Cheers or not and the question i have is how do they know the drinks are for friends and not you?  I know after 15 drinks on Cheers your done for the day so i cant see it being 15 drinks on Cheers and 15 drinks paid.  That would be 30 drinks total and be against the regular alcohol policy of 15 drinks and the Cheers policy of 15 drinks.

"Guests will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 15 alcoholic beverages, per person, per day while on board."

It says in the policy for themselves and friends.
