Purchasing Liquor Pre-Cruise through The Fun Shops
All products sold containing alcohol have a limit of two products per stateroom. On 7 day and longer cruises, there is a limit of one bottle of hard liquor per stateroom and on shorter cruises, pre-cruise purchases are limited to wine, champagne and beer (no hard liquor).

Look up cruise time tables dot com This site lists ships and ports for most major lines. It's very informative. New ships are probably not listed until they sail.

I make my own wine too. I've brought my "one bottle per adult" on many times. Make sure it is labeled and has a capsule on top. I brought a 375ml bottle of port on with no issues. If you are that worried, go buy a bottle at the store, drink it and reuse the bottle so you have a commercial label. As others have noted, we rarely get questioned on our wine.

Sorry to hear you had a bad cruise. We were on Carnival Liberty in September and had a great time. It was one of our best cruises.
We sailed Carnival Triumph three times and we had one stinker cruise. I guess it happens. Had it been our first cruise... it may had been our last.

In 2013 we did the "Canopy Tour & Tabyana Beach" excursion. Zip Lining is a blast! The beach was excellent. We have our own snorkel gear. The underwater view is fantastic. Wish I had a camera. It was the highlight of this cruise. We'd do this again in a heartbeat.

We cruise out of Galveston TX. Who polices this? We normally get there around 12:30 or so and we had a 1:00 - 1:30 "Check-In" time. By the time I dropped bags, parked and got back to the terminal, it had to be after 1:00. There was one line outside and everybody had to go through it. It was humid and no wind blowing. I noticed others in front of me with "Check-In" times of 2:00 and 3:00. This was the longest wait we ever had for boarding. It was after 3:00 before we got on board. So much for choosing a time. This cruise was on the Liberty and at the smaller pier just south of the main pier. Did I get in the wrong line? This was a bit chaotic. Our cruise was a blast and made up for the delay but I mentioned it on my survey.

Had 6201 on Conquest and 7204 on Liberty. Love these rooms! Yes you will walk a lot more but they are super quiet. Being out on the front deck at night is wonderful. Stars, no noise, and usually by yourself. Very calming.

We've been on the Magic which is a sister ship. Deck plans show deck 5 goes all the way around the ship. Yes it is public. There should be stairs that lead to more decks (6 and 7) at the front of the ship. This is a nice area as most do not know it's there. Great place to be at night. The upper decks 9, 10, 11 you walk to the front of the ship and find doors that lead out. You are on top of the navigation bridge. Deck 6, 7 have the same doors too. All public.
There is a deck open at the front for crew only.

We cruised the Liberty in September for 5 days. We had a lot of fun. I think there was about 25 of us. It's a nice ship.

My electric shaver. I did not shave before we left. Needless to say I was pretty rough after a few days. Bought a razor/cream in Cozumel. I can't speak/read Spanish so I pointed at what I needed. I bled like a stuck pig.

We've had room 2444 (Class 1A) twice on Carnival Triumph. We like it. First time there was two twins together and no upper. The second time there was one twin and one upper. It's one of the cheapest rooms on the ship. No bad noises but we wear earplugs to sleep. You get a lot of noise at docking as the ropes are directly below you. Plan on a lot of walking because you are on the far lower corner of the ship.

I saw this room on our October 31st cruise during our cabin crawl. Notwithstanding being listed as a "inside" room, this room has two large windows. Notwithstanding being listed as an upper/lower, this room had a normal Carnival king size (two beds together) bed. This room was huge. Tons more square feet than my aft extended balcony room. We had thirty people walking around in this room. I was so impressed that I booked it for my wife and I on 2/15/14. Larger Outside room for a 1A price. Loving it.
And yes I was the one who booked this room that cruise. Yes it is great for the price!

We were in 2297 on the Magic. This cove balcony does not have a life boat above it. This room does have a shared door between it's neighbor 2293. Noise was not an issue. (ear plugs work great) We used the stairs most of the time as we had plenty of calories to burn. The picture was taken from a tender boat to Belize.

We've been on Carnival Triumph for two cruises and have been disappointed by something both times. We've been on other ships and had a great time with no problems.
The first time, Carnival lost my alcohol I bought in Cozumel. Some of the bottles you can't get in the US. I hope whoever got them enjoyed it.
The second time was Halloween 2013. We did this as a "quickie get out of town" cruise. We did not buy much on ship or in Cozumel. I did buy alcohol in Cozumel but took it to my room when re-boarding. We also bought eleven printed pictures and got ten of them digital on a USB stick. There was one picture I really wanted digital. It did not make it to the USB. We had no way of checking the device after purchase. We trusted them to do it correctly. There was a placeholder for the file but nothing usable was there. I called Carnival when we got home. They said they delete all pictures when the ship returns to Galveston.
Did we have fun? Yes but dang those little mishaps really scar the memory.

I look at www cruise time tables dot com and look up where all ships are going. It's been handy for planning vacations. Find your ship name or destination and look up the dates.
Bottled Water Yes or No??
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted · Edited by Carrion
As mentioned above, cans only or the bottle of wine per person. Buy the 12 pack of bottled water (16.9 oz) from the Fun Shops to be delivered to the cabin. You might consider packs of electrolytes to add to the water as well as you sweat out salts and water.
