We were in Jamaica in March and rafted the Martha Brae. It was nice and was $30 each. The raft trip was about 45 minutes to an hour. It was relaxing and you have an opportunity to steer the raft as well. There were people on the edge of the river in various places trying to sell stuff, but they are everywhere. It was something that I wanted to do and now I have. I'm not sure I would recommend it over another tour though.

We hired a private guide for the day that highly recommended Scotchies. It has all the local favorites including: jerk pork, jerk chicken, breadfruit, and other side dishes. It is a popular outdoor restaurant by not only locals but tourists as well.

We just got back from Jamaica and had a wonderful tour guide that can take anywhere from 2 to 20 on any tour you wish. He is a very knowledgeable articulate young man that takes great care of you. We were recently in Jamaica and found a tour guide I'd recommend to anyone in ports of Montego Bay, Falmouth, or Ocho Rios. He has a very nice bus and is able to take larger groups or just a couple of people. He is knowledgeable and very articulate. We are on the Windsurf and will be in Tangier on September 9. We would like to get a private tour guide to see the sights in and around Tangier. Everything I've read on Tangier is fairly negative. Does anyone have any recommendations for a private guide and an e-mail address?
