  1. If you are booking 2 rooms for your family, can you put one person in each room that gets a discount to book and get discounts for each room, then change the room assignments later (assuming only 2 people in the group can get the discount but want to be in the same room ultimately)?

  2. Great to know! Thanks! How/Where do I check them out? Is there a fee?

Just got back from Adventure. Towels were available to pick up as soon as you got off the ship and available to return as soon as you came back trough security on the ship. No towel service on the pool deck early in the morning on port days since they had a booth right off the ship. I think on the Allure we had to get them from the pool deck so it might depend on the cruise. They scan your sea pass card when checking out and checking back in so if you're short any you are charged $25 per towel.

  3. On our sea day we were told that currently 8 people were quarantined. Not sure what the total number for the cruise was. Later in the cruise all touch screens were turned off, such as wayfinders, and crew manually squirted your hands with sanitizer before entering any dining room or shop. Also, the crew served you while wearing gloves in the windjammer, you could not even pick up your own plate and utensils, they had to be handed to you by someone wearing gloves. This was my first experience with Noro and I'm glad about all the precautions they took. Boarding will not be allowed until after 2:00pm today since they are fogging all the cabins and doing a complete sanitation routine. Only one muster drill at 7:45pm. Hopefully the next cruise will be virus free and people will follow directions and wash their hands frequently.

  4. Sorry I didn't keep them. If you want to know about any specific things or timings ask away and I'll try to help

We're doing a b2b. The sea day is the same day both weeks, just different ports. I was able to find compasses for one week, but not the Grenada itinerary you did. I was just wondering how similar the show schedules were from week to week and if I missed something one week could count on it being the same day and time the next week.

  5. Just off Adventure on Saturday. No tickets or muster station assignments, but, we decided to go about 5 minutes before the doors were opened at 8:30 for the 9:00 show and there was a HUGE line. We were in the back of that line and barely got a seat, and not a great one. Just two of us. So if you want a good seat, better get there a while before the doors open!

Thank you for sharing! Good to know; we will get there early.

  6. I can tell you my experience regarding the gluten question. I have IBS and one of my trigger foods is gluten - I do not have an allergy, just a sensitivity. I filled out my cruise docs with special diet gluten free. When we ate the first night the waiter brought up my gluten "allergy" and I explained that I do not have celiac, just a sensitivity. So instead of having to order my dinners the night before (which I believe they do for celiac so they can prepare the entire meal in a separate prep area so that nothing touches gluten), I would just look at the menu each night and ask for one of the meals with the gluten free option symbol next to it (dairy is also a trigger for me and they had quite a few options for dairy free as well). They also brought me a selection of gluten free breads and I loved them all! Had a full plate of them waiting for me every night after that. Just let them know it's not an allergy, just a preference/sensitivity, so they don't tell you you can't order the cake for dessert if you want some :D ... I won't be selecting gluten free as a special diet on our next cruise and plan to just ask for the gluten free bread and look for gluten free dinner options.

  7. The class room has the smaller "steps" for aeorobics class. I do not believe you will find anything taller. The picture shows the area were they hold the classes. I don't think the ceiling height would support box jumping. Another option is to get up early and do the stairs a few times. Perfect opportunity to try something new.

    Enjoy your cruise!!

Thank you for the response and picture. I really appreciate it. My husband is wanting to start a jump program but it will overlap with our cruise. If the aerobic steps they have are similar to the ones we have at the Y I believe the height would be adjustable and may work for his needs? Do you know if anyone is allowed to use the classroom area and equipment when a class is not being held?

  8. They typically have deals on board, but many times those deals are on port days. If you wait and book on board, and want to book for a sea day, I would go to the spa as soon as you board.

I'm looking at the pre-book options and some of the couples massages are not available on sea days and the ones that are don't have slots during certain hours around 10-11 and 4-8. Do you think all of the available options are loaded for pre-book, or would some of these times and dates be open once on board for booking? If the availability is the same, I will probably go ahead and book to lock in the day and time we would like.

  9. I'd like to book a couple's massage on our sea day on board Adventure of the Seas. Should I pre-book now or wait to book once on board? I was looking at pre-booking but saw something that said speak with the spa concierge to customize your couple's massage in the couples suite? So I'm not sure if we will be in a couple's suite if I pre-book? Also, I don't know if prices or availability would be different on board.

  10. We only have 1 day we could do an El Yunque and Bio Bay combo tour. Ellis is booked that day, the transportation and hiking part of the Kayaking Puerto Rico is not running that day, and Eco Adventure is not running that day. Does anyone know of any other company that offers an El Yunque and Bio Bay combo tour with transportation???

  11. The completely nude section is on the far end. We actually drove by it when we did Bernard's tour so I would suggest just not looking out the window at that part. Our tour guide, Mailman, pointed out the nude resort so you won't be surprised when it's coming up. As far as where we ended up hanging out on Orient, we only saw a handful of topless people; it was my first topless beach and wasn't uncomfortable at all. We barely noticed it. The most uncomfortable part would probably be the nude males on the far end of the beach when you drive by but we never saw them on the part of the beach we stayed on. Hope that helps you decide.

  12. We were on the Spoons food tour last October. I was going to book Flavors of Old San Juan, but they weren't running the day I wanted. We would've had to book for boarding day and I ust couldn't see booking a food tour the day we were getting on a cruise ship with unlimited food.

That being said, we really enjoyed the Spoons tour and I'm glad we chose it.

Thank you for the input. I think we will go with Spoon Food since logistically it makes more sense. They have great reviews on TripAdvisor too.
