  1. I am doing 2 cruises in March 2019 and was looking to understand if they will coincide with spring break. I’ve booked Symphony for 16 March departure and Celebrity Edge for 31 March departure. I was just on Ovation and of the 4500 guests 1700 were kids.... I thought kids were back to school and that wasn’t the case with all the states in Australia so it was the cruise from hell for me. Please let me know if my dates will get caught up with Spring Break as I will change them if that’s the case. Thanks in advance.

  2. We were on the ovation Christmas and are going 8 March.

Cris Hopkins was fabulous much better than joff, even the staff didn’t think much of joff.

Will Criss Hopkins be on ovation in March.

Don’t think so, I just got off Ovation today and it was Chris’s last cruise, he was heading him to UK but not sure for how long or what ship he’s on next. Chris was great and Joff was even better!

  3. I just sent him a FB message to find out what is up with him. He was supposedly only on Ovation for a two month stint.....I hope to get an answer from him.....we will see.....I will update the thread when I know.

I just got off Ovation today as did Chris.... he was heading back to the UK for holidays, not sure what ship he’s back on next or when. BTW I absolutely loved Joff!

  4. We were just on Oasis two weeks ago and had pre-purchased a five night package. Once on board we went to Izumi and they had no problem changing our first night booking to a different restaurant, different time. They also booked the rest of our dining for the remainder of the week. Could not have been easier. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes. We also had no problem including 150 Central Park.

Perfect, that sounds exactly the flexibility I am after. Did you have any troubles with restaurants being booked out? Surely they must keep a certain amount of tables for dining package.

  5. Apologies in advance if this has been done to death, I’ve searched and can’t find previous threads.

I’m sailing on Symphony in March 19 (would you believe dining is already open for reservations) and I am looking to get a 3 or 4 night dining package. I understand that you pick a standard time you want eg 8pm and that on day 1 you will receive details of the restaurant along with the days. My question is if I don’t like the restaurants I’ve been given can I change them? I absolutely hate Wonderland and if I got that I’d find the whole thing a waste of money. Also is 150 Central Park a restaurant that could be included on the dining package? Can you also change the day if it clashes with a show that’s been pre booked?

Would love to hear what restaurants people have been allocated previous.

    Thanks in advance.

  7. Going to be hard to decide which to do. Re-Positioning Cruise on the Spectrum or Quantum to Alaska. Give me a good price and great itinerary Royal!

Quantum is fully decked out for China market so I don't see her going to Alaska. Ovation on the other hand could be a possibility. Ovation comes to Australia for summer and then heads up to Singapore for Winter so she could head to Alaska when Explorer and Radiance leave Oz. Ovation is more Western friendly where as Quantam had the casino space doubled when it hit Asia.

  8. Thanks for all the responses. I even called in to Royal and got the same response. Book a no show. What about a passport number? Did NCL Epic studio room. It was fun. I booked on NCL Spirit that had no single rooms and they only charged me a small supplement. NCL not in Port Canaveral right now. Really hate to have to drive all the way to Miami when I am very close to Canaveral. But it may be what I have to do in the future.

I'd love to have your driving issues instead it's a 28 hour flight from Australia to Miami for me and yet I do it!
