  1. We were just in 6244 and noise was no problem. It is a larger balcony from which you have great views forward and aft, is convenient to Boardwalk and promenade. I’m sure 7640 would be fine, but there is no way to get from port to starboard at the aft elevators. I wouldn’t worry about switching.

  2. Sam, we had 9092 on Serenade for 24 days and liked the room location very much, in fact have the same room booked for two week B2B to Alaska on Radiance this summer. Being close to the elevators is very convenient. The balcony was huge and we were never bothered by noise either from elevators or centrum. Enjoy your cruise.

  3. We were there in mid-May two years ago. The weather was very good, and the snow was melting in the mountains, creating spectacular waterfalls. We counted over fifty different waterfalls in a thirty minute span while sitting on our balcony. The locals told us that later in the summer that this is not the case, as the melt diminishes as the summer goes on.The only time it was very cold was on a boat trip trip to a glacier, for which we had not worn our heavier jackets, but for the most part we had shirt sleeve weather. If I were to go again, I would choose May.

  4. I've been on Freedom the last two weeks, and VOOM is onboard. When it is working, it is extremely fast, but it has it's glitches still on Freedom.

Still a darn site better than what we had on Serenade three weeks ago.

I wouldn't put much faith in what was told to the OP, but we all know that RCI has a crack IT group, and with them, anything is possible.
