  1. We took this tour in June 2022 and would offer a big "beware"!!!  I have sailed alot but this is not for the faint of heart.  The seas were extremely rough and we were limited to only 45 minutes at Paradise beach and no swimming time off the boat.  On the return trip the guide recommended that everyone come into the inside of the boat due to the anticipated seas.

  2. I was in Santorini last month and the boats were running for 30 euro per person.  This included the boat to Oia, bus to town and bus back to Fira.  Fair warning,  the bus does not meet you at the boat and you will need to walk uphill about 1/2 mile.

It is still worth it for the independence and would readily do it again.

On board the Reflection right now RT Rome. They just changed their Covid testing rules today to allow passengers that are flying home within 1 day of disembarking to test onboard ($65 each). Testing will be late afternoon/evening on day prior to returning to Rome. Also given option of buying emed testing to be handed out at port or making a reservation at FCO for testing.

Thank you so much for this info.  I am sailing on June 13 and have purchased the emed tests but like having a backup.

I will be on the 6/4 Edge sailing out of Rome...I am arriving on 6/3 and am comfortable getting the pre-cruise test upon arrival at FCO.  What I am not comfortable with, yet anyway, is how to get the test for departure back to the US (crossing fingers the US drops the testing requirement).  The ship gets in around 5am and my flight is at 12:50.  Celebrity says they will be selling an ehealth test (I already have Binax kits from my canceled January cruise that are still good).  I suppose there will be enough time to test at the airport, but if it is tight timewise, I am a bit concerned about getting tested before checking luggage.  Will the elevate package wifi be good enough to take the Binax test the last day at sea?  Do I need to look into a data package that works in Italy?  I am concerned the data package might be too slow to properly do the ehealth test after we disembark.  I am not sure if just paying Verizon for coverage for Italy will be fast enough either....

I agree 100%.  This is what keeps me up at night!

We’re in the process of booking a hotel prior to our cruise in May. I looked at the TA reviews on this hotel as I do all hotels and it seems that many who booked a “refundable” rate did not receive a refund and the hotel doesn’t seem to be responding. We will look elsewhere.

Had the same experience at this hotel and had previously stayed there.  Refundable rate was charged at time of booking and never refunded.  Hotel was contacted many times to no avail.
