We’re booked on a Uniworld Christmas markets cruise on the Danube. We embark in Passau on 9 Dec and have stops in Linz, Melk, Krems, Vienna, Bratislava, and finally disembark in Budapest. This is our first river cruise, being veteran cruisers on Silversea, and are really looking forward to the change of venue.

I’d be interested to know whether the La Dame-included wines are available at the other restaurants.

On a recent cruise, I was happily surprised to see a bottle of Arberg An Oa at the Dolce Vita bar.

Anyone know if SpaceX-Starlink has been installed on Dawn? I am on transatlantic 23 March and would love to have that capability in the middle of the Atlantic.
I have the same question re the Moon. I'm on the 16 March transatlantic.

here's what it shows for D2D and P2P.
Clarification: The screenshot clearly shows "D2D" and "D2D without flights." "D2D without flights" is not P2P.

So if the traveller was American, and it does sound like it, then the USA considers you to be fully vaccinated after 2 mRNA shots plus 1 booster or 1 shot of J&J plus one booster.
No boosters are required to be "fully vaccinated" in the US.

I’d absolutely disagree. Before this whole debacle the basis was cruise only with air and transfers as an add on, sometimes included but mostly not. Rather than getting rid of p2p they need to stop actively trying to make it so unattractive. I, Personally, would never book d2d.
Agree. I’d prefer that they dump D2D.and offer everything a la carte. Have a base cost for the cruise and all else (air, transfers, excursions, etc.) priced as an option. (This will never happen.)

I’m curious to know whether anyone with 100+ VS days has been denied complimentary laundry service while sailing on a Port-to-Port fare. This excerpt from the Venetian Society page on the SS website is a bit ambiguous since it refers to Port-to-Port all-inclusive fares (i.e., not services):
“The more you sail, the more you receive:
· All Venetian Society Members: 5% savings on selected future sailings. Find out more here.
· 100 VS days or more: 5% savings on all future sailings
· 250 VS days or more: 10% savings on all future sailings
· 350 VS days: complimentary 7-day voyage
· 500 VS days: complimentary 14-day voyage
· After 500 VS days, complimentary 7-day voyage for each 150 days sailed
All of the above milestones include complimentary laundry service (excludes dry cleaning and "press only").
Please note that Port-to-Port All-Inclusive fares are excluded from the Venetian Society milestone rewards above. For more details please refer to the Terms and Conditions page.”Thanks

Newbie Questions...
in Silversea
Posted
In September, we stayed at the Sankt Petri in Copenhagen. Great location in the Indre By, great breakfast buffet, and reasonably priced. It was the pre-cruise hotel used by Silversea.
