  1. You will also receive all of this info in your room during your cruise. We had two families with kids - 9 checked bags. We had suites so it was free plus we used our Delta perk for free luggage (place on form for Delta info ) and it worked great. I would recommend if you can do it.

  2. We just returned from a cruise a couple weeks ago. We stayed at the Springhill Suites near MCO for a Saturday arrival. Great hotel and walking distance to a few restaurants. We use the hotel shuttle from the airport then on Sunday we used Cortans Shuttle Service to Port Canaveral. All on time and a great service to the port and then to the airport after our cruise. Great experience from both.

  3. Hopefully this will be simple, just need info before getting to registration.

    1. We have 2 rooms, 4 persons per room.

    2. Grandma (C& A discount) in Cabin 1 with 3 grandkids

    3. Grandpa (C&A discount) in Cabin 2 with son & daughter in law and 1 grandchild

At check in can we make the switch to get Grandma & Grandpa together ina room with 2 Grandkids and Mom & Dad in the other cabin with the other children? Our documents and set sail pass is as stated above. I just don't want to have the wrong seapass cards for the wrong room all week. Registration can reprint cards to what we need? I tried to get this changed months ago and was always told we would lose the discount.

  4. While going to Chichen Itza is a trip everyone should do in their lifetime, doing on a cruise makes it a horribly long day. I would only do it thru RCCL. Your probably looking at 3-4 hours of ferry ride/bus ride before you even get there. I would assume 2 hours to tour the ruins then back again. It is something I would recommend but only doing it when your doing a land vacation in Playa or Cancun.

  5. Thank you for the info on Cortrans, it sounds like they do a very good job. We will also look at staying in Orlando or going to Port Canaveral for the night. We will look at all options, we are so used to going out of Ft Lauderdale, Miami & San Juan. We have not sailed out of Port Canaveral since the Big Red Boat! Ha!

  6. This is our first timesailing out of Port Canaveral on the Oasis. We will be flying into Orlando on6/2 sailing on 6/3. We will have a party of 8. Two Grandparents, 2 Parents and4 children, 10, 8, 5 & 3. Looking for advice for hotels and transportation.Should we stay in Orlando and shuttle to the port the next day or stay around PortCanaveral after our arrival? Recommendations for shuttle service & cost willbe appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  7. We are getting ready to sail on the Allure and we are already looking into a future cruise that will include our kids and grandchildren. It would really make a difference to have the promo of kids sail free. We are going to speak to the booking agent while on the ship but we are also looking for anyone who has booked kids free and is it just a waiting game or will they offer it to us? Looking for another Allure cruise or similar to the Caribbean probably in the summer months. I know it's a long shot. Thanks in advance for your help.

  8. If you have to put your wine in your checked bags then be prepared to go to the "naughty room" to pick up your bags. They can't tell what's in the bottles if they are in your checked bag (wine or hard stuff) so they will make you come to open it so they can check it out.

Just retuned from the Allure, not a problem with both of our rooms bringing 2 bottles of wine per room in checked bags.
