We booked Hilton Rose through Resort for a day a few years ago and had a great time. Transportation was great to and from the resort. We didn't use the beach area, we floated in the lazy river and went to the swim up bar all day. We are going back in Sept. and plan on going there again. Jamaiican jerk chicken there was awesome.

My husband is wanting to try the "authentic jerk chicken", I am glad to hear it is good. We go to Hilton Rose Hall next week! Can't wait!

Our Carnival guy told me to always get deck 7 whether interior or balcony. That is the level all the suites are on for a reason. :) And of course middle of the ship. But on deck 7 there are rooms above you and below you.

how did u a fan for the room?

It was just a small desk fan my husband uses at work. Maybe we got lucky that they didn't take it? IDK.

Door decorations (to help you find your room easier - it helps after a few drinks too) :)

Extension cord - DH likes his fan and plugs are scarce.

Extra batteries or charger for camera.

My DD packs months in advance so we have time to think of stuff. :D

Our first time to GC and we asked one of the security officers for help with transportation and he put us in a taxi which charged more. Make sure you get the public transportation. Much cheaper and just as good. pretty easy to get around there. We went to the turtle farm which my daughter loved!

"Sneaky" LOL..They just happened to wind up in my backpack, and back on the ship. There was not flight involved so that made it easy... Enjoy your cruise and the Kalik next week.:D I Have a few more weeks to wait:(

We are not going to Bahamas this time but maybe if he finds something he likes it is good to know that they could "happen" to fall into his backpack! LOL! Thanks!

Medalla In PR, Or Kalik in the Bahamas -- Both have unique taste, which reminds I have to drink the Kalik I brought home from my last cruise:D

Can you bring back local beer? Or were you "sneaky" about it? LOL! My husband loved Kalik while we were in the Bahamas too and you can not find it here. Was just curious if he finds something on our cruise next week that he would like to bring back if it is possible. Thanks for any info!

Just found this thread recently and thought I would share a couple of my pages. I save everything while on our cruise and try to incorporate it somehow. Napkins maps and things. I also keep the fun times for every day because that makes for fun memories too. Hope you like.

I have the cruise ship charm too. Got mine in San Juan 2 years ago. Ever since I got that I have started buying a charm for every stop we go to so I can remember each one. I did not get one in Belize unfortunately. Some i do not buy actual "Pandora" charms but ones I just think are pretty (colored beads) but my bracelet is about full. After this next trip i will be completely full! On to another bracelet then! I have also bought my daughter one for her 16th b/day this year so she can start doing the same.

I bring home sand and shells/rocks and put in a glass block from local craft store and add a picture of the beach on back of the block with dates and place so never to forget when we went. Got several now. Running out of room on the mantle! Lol!

I would like to know this as well! We did the cavetubing in Belize and it was a wonderful experience. Would love to explore caves here too!
