  1. Hi,

I cruised to Vietnam a few years ago and if I can Recall they charged you $25 dollers once on board and the ship arranged it all for us. We did not require to get a Vertnamise visa before we departed the UK, our cruise started in Hong Kong.

  2. Hi,

I am an avid lemonchello drinker and i can confirm that you should be able to get it all bars, if not just ask, like I did the bar manger on Silhouette said it should be avalable in every bar on board ship. You can also get it is part of the Classic drinks package as a complimentary option.

    Thanks

  3. Hi

The train companay that runs frim `London to Southhamption is South West Trains from Waterlo, they run every hour and take about 1hr30 mins to get to Southhampton you could book 1st class which is always a good way to go as more space and also room for your luggage it is nice to sit on the train and watch the countryside go by.

    Hope that helps

  4. Hi Musicallanne,

The last time I stayed in Miami to pick up a cruise ship O stayed at the Intercontinental Downtown, it is a lovely hotel and you can see some of the cruise ships berhed in the port. I am joining the Equinox in Miami for a cruise in Febuary and have just booked for the intercontinental again, it is really near the port and within walk distance of Bayside which has lots of nice restaurants and there are also restaurants just accross the road from the hotel. An excellent choice if joing a ship as only 5 mins taxi ride from the terminal building.

    Hope that Helps

  5. Joined Sillhouette in September our first celebrity cruise for a while we were in Barcelona but have embarked many cruises at Miami. If you arrive about 11am you should not have long to wait to embark as it is smooth. The best place to book for specialty dining is just walk round deck 5 as that is where most of the restaurants are and they are all open for you to have a look at. If you are in concierge class you can have your embarkation lunch in the main dining room on deck 3. it is well worth it. If not ocean view cafe is also great. I am sure you will have a great time on board and enjoy it.

Hope those are some helpful tips that help

  6. Hi

The palatzo stern hotel on the grand canal is a very nice hotel stayed there before boarding Azamara the past. It is next to a very good vapereto stop with easy access to St marks Square and all over the city. It is in quieter part of the city but very easy to get to the terminal from by water taxi.

    Hope that helps

  7. Hi,

Embarked in Mumbai in Nov 2012, Remember the immigration process being quite long. However If you go on a tour they may come onto the bis to check there is lots of lists to tick off so it may only be a short delay if it is just a port of call and not embarkation, although they may do face to face immigration in Mumbai if they do it will probably be sone on ship deck by deck before you are allowed to debark the vessel. The Indians can be very meticulous at times.

  8. Hi,

The ship always provides an airport transfer, you should be able to book it through Guest Relations as it will appear with the price when you get your disembaerkation details sheet to fill in. However depending on your time of departure from FCO it may be worth while looking into your own arrangements. I have used Viator before to book transfers to FCO from the port at a very reasonable price as FCO is about 1.5 hours from the port depending on time of day and traffic as well.

Hope that gives you and few options and some helpful info

  9. Hi

We went through the Panama Canal from Miami in march and disembarked in Caldera. We were due to arrive from Quipos at 6am on the day of disembarkation but the captain told us he would be docking at 11pm the previous night as in this port they can not store the bags in the normal place for some reason. They have to take it off on deck 5 so would get the luggage off as soon as possible so not to block the lifeboats. I am sure thy may tell you the same thing.

So you may be able to get off the ship as early as 6/7am if you wanted to.

    Hope that Helps

  10. Hi,

Me and my parents Were on Journey 2013/14 for Christmas and New Year it was a great cruise, the meals around Christmas were above and beyond the great standard with little extra courses and the Christmas eve buffet after Christmas Carols was superb. New year was also wonderful

We are really looking forward to going on to Quest from bali to Cairns this year I am sure it will be fantastic and a great party atmosphere can not wait! It will be interesting to see if anything is done differently between the two ships but I am sure it will be much the same

  11. Hi,

Can anyone tell me when the September 2017 cruises to Alaska and Pacific Coastal itineraries come up on the website and will be available to book? The furthest I can get is up to September 2016.

    Thanks for your help

  12. Hi,

I have disembarked from Azamara twice in Singapore. You usually need to be off the Vessel by 9am at the latest, but that does depend on when you arrive and dock and the ship is cleared by customs.

There are a few hotels close to the port. The one I remember is the bay hotel with easy access to santosa island and a short walk from downtown or easy access by taxi or metro.

If you did want to stay nearer the airport there are not many hotels around it and it is about 45mins from central Singapore.

If you booked a transfer for a time it is quite easy as you just walk straight off the ship along the corridor down in the lift to level one then all the transfers just wait for you there, do be careful as it can be busy early morning as it is also the ferry port. If the driver has your name on a card that is easier as after you collect your bags you can look for them.

Hope all that info helps, enjoy your cruise.
