We too would like information regarding this particular cruise.

There is a post dated 29th June on this board which might help and encourage you....it's by by Charlies Aunt.

It doesn't make any difference where your stateroom is situated, there is always room on deck for everyone. Sunbeds are plentiful with helpful staff to source beds for those who need assistance. Azamara guests do not usually reserve a bed and then leave it for hours, there is not the need.

Lucca is a delightful walled town with winding streets, cute coffee shops with delicious pastries, wonderful shops and a church or two! Much classier than Pisa although that tower is pretty amazing, it is almost all there is to see.

We have been opposite the laundry on Quest and did not hear a thing, and I am a light sleeper. There are always sounds to be heard from the laundry in the corridor but bear in mind there are two doors between the cabin and the laundry. There is very little noise at the lifts (elevators) on Azamara ships, small quiet ships with considerate passengers.

Hi....I am 70 years old and spent my last cruise on Journey dancing with a 14 year old...amazing dancer!
There were a couple of babies and children onboard but this was the first time we have cruised with children. In the main 30's to 80's and a lovely mix.
At dinner it is smart casual and most people dress well...in Asia where it was very hot it was a little more casual but ladies still have a few sequins in their T shirts!

On Journey now..Azamara as good as ever but the entertainment just isn't working...not a deal breaker for us but many moans and discontent when discussed the following day with fellow cruisers.
We were invited to an officers table to dine and he asked our opinions...Az is aware that there is a lot of fine tuning to be done and it isn't right yet.

Print your XPress pass again and that is all you need to board the ship. If you reprint it should have your new cabin number.
Phil
YES ! got it..many thanks.:D
-
Yes..TravelBugM... but our E docs still state the original, now void, stateroom number....have been online to check our situation, no change, and we leave our little island very soon for Singapore.
-
Thank you everyone for your replies and advice, I'm feeling reassured now!
-
Eek! think I might just use the old fashioned brown tie on ones to be sure!!
-
Thank you for that comprehensive reply....I'm still going to worry though, I like all boxes ticked!
-
Hi.... Two weeks ago I printed out our e.docs and luggage labels for our forthcoming cruise. Two days ago we were offered, and accepted, an upgrade to a better cabin. Does anyone have experience of what happens about new luggage labels?:o

I am beyond words....how difficult can it be for a cruise ship company to know and inform clients which port their ship will use!
-
Hi..talking of 'slings'..has anyone else heard that Raffles is closed for refurbishment?
-
Received this morning also...good...peace of mind restored!
-
Thankyou for that.
-
Hello Bonnie...back to the same old issue, still outstanding...could I respectfully ask if you could please find out where our departure point is for the 25th March.
-
This survey is complete nonsense..a waste of everyones time and money. Hippie and dippy. Mine is a negative vote for any of these changes.
-
Over the years we have cruised we have had some very well informed taxi drivers who know exactly which ship is where, I hope we get a knowledgeable one on the 25th!! It might be our last hope.!!

What a mess..after 12 or 14 cruises I thought I was Azamaras greatest fan, but these notifications, which are so very far from correct is really making me think again...just who is in charge of this information. Brits don't need a visa for Dubai.
-
Wow Phil ....that Singapore schedule finder looks so good..I don't think I need to worry any longer..so disappointed in Az. though...so many cruises under our belts with them and this mistake goes without comment or apologies.
-
Thankyou Phil.....yes precisely..all the conflicting comments made for a very unsettling few days and it still isn't what our e.docs say.
Miami disembarkation after Cuba Intensive
in Azamara
Posted
The last time we disembarked at Miami we took a cab to a hotel which did day rooms (think the site is called rooms 9 to 5 or similar) we relaxed by the pool, ate lunch, showered and then had the hotel shuttle bus to the airport. It was so relaxing and a good way to finish our cruise.
