So Lewis Hamilton was turned away from Wimbledon for not wearing a tie or jacket.
could this happen on a P&O cruise at a formal night Dinner ?.what would happen if you don't follow the dress code. David.

Brochures come out in March. Is it the world cruises one you want as that comes out at a different time. Not sure when.
Hi Dai.It's the med & northern Europe.2016 - 2017.

HI. Does anyone know when the next P&O brochure is due out ?.I though it was June & we normally get one in the post from P&O but nothing yet. thanks.David

Try P&Os holiday Extra. We have lots of medical conditions I/c surgery. Found them very good approx. £75 each for 12 months cover. David.

Dress code for the night is not applied on Limelight it is smart casual on all nights and there is no chance of any act finishing as early as 10pm.
Thank you. Did not go in so was not sure but it was well used and will do well.be interesting to see who they can get to perform every night. Will they be better than the main show seeing there is a charge.

I’m on the next cruise on Britannia and I’m looking to pre-book the Limelight Club. I can see who’s on each night and also the sample menus. Can anyone please tell me about times? What time do you eat and what time does the show start and finish? If it’s a black tie night does that apply here?
Hi the show starts at 7.30 and the dress code for the night applied.( not 100% sure on this but I think I'm right ) The finish can be anywhere from 10pm to midnight depending who's on.

Hi you will look out to sea but when in dock you will not see the dock as the lifeboats block the view.so you won't se the band playing ( or very little of it anyway ).it dose not matter what desk your on.I,ve just come off the maiden voyage.

Hi All
Going on our first cruise with P&O and was wondering what was the best insurance company to go with.
I understand P&O have some criteria regarding amounts covered etc but find some companies don't even state about being airlifted from a ship etc.
Any advise would be great
Thanks
Glenn
Hi Glenn. We have gone with P&O's own insurance holiday extra. Never used them before but seem to have good reports.however,as with any insurance read the small print & make sure you tell them any medical conditions. On a cruise you pay up front for any visit to the medical centre and treatment then claim it back on your insurance, if you are covered.

After all the commences on this it is making me wonder what is the best insurance to have. On the maiden voyage of Britannia we have gone with P&Os own insurance holiday extra. But how do you tell which is best.

Thanks Linda. I did not know how to put the links on.
-
Maybe a link would help.
don't know how you do a link but here is the web page.

What are the details ? I am sure it isn't as bad as your post would have us believe. Was a person of 84 years of age really travelling on their own ?
Hi no she was not on her own family were with her see the story in mail online half way down first page.

Bad story in the Daily mail today.84 years old lady died after being put off a P&O cruise with little help according to the paper. Not good reading for P&O.

HI. Dose anyone know if you be able to order room service, breakfast etc. on the TV system on Britannia and also see your account as you can on celebrity cruises. thanks David.

What will happen to the flag being rolled out on P&O ships if Scotland go independent. Will their flag be removed or what.

Hi all. I know it's early but anyone else on the maiden voyage with us.so looking forward to it.David
-
Hi all.well,I'm happy with the price and with pre reg with P&O.we are on the maiden voyage in the grade of cabin we want.ok,no cabin number yet but so what and remember,on the opening day the prices will go up if you don't get in there first with your booking.this happened last time. I don't know what the problem is with paying a depoist to P&O.when you know you are on the cruise you want.
had anyone had the britannia book yet.? David
-
We Like the colours. Manage to get on the maiden voyage with P&O.no cabin number yet thro.looking forward to this one. David:)
-
HI. Filled in the form on the P&O web page for a call back in 72 hours. Where a cabin number is not important, we do want our Grade & want to be in the middle of the ship.so if we can't have that, I can't see the point in booking. I'm not paying to be somewhere we don't want to be. David.
no tie or jacket.

Non of you are answering the question. Which is, would P&O turn you away for not following the dress code.in all my cruises I have never seen it happen.
