  1. Looks like a standard balc. cabin. Most have great views!

Most people dress very casual on the ship. On formal night every was dressed in different degree's from "nicely dressed" to "formal".

Although many people keep it casual in the dinning room most nights they are nicely dressed. The men or women ( even those who I noticed wearing jeans or shorts) were all dressed very nicely.

    Have fun!

  2. Does anyone know for sure what kind of mug one could buy in the gift shop?

I'm thinking about throwing a few bottles of water into my bag just so I can use the bottle when its empty so I can stock up on juice in the morning. Are the cups in the buffet big?

I may go to the party store/dollar store to get a cheap "water bottle w/ staw" that you can't see through....

  3. Theres a lot of touristy shops over in san juan.... i remember a few place's selling beer and wine. They sell it in supermarkets too... a whole row just for rum... rum is so cheap there too... Try to get it on board.... if you can have it in your room then you'll bring some cheap booze home for the family ;)

(i did'nt sail out of san juan... i had a *gasp* hotel on land i stayed in *gasp* - a non cruise vaction )

  4. you might be able to get a tour from san juan. I went to PR last summer and it was crazy driving. Thankfully i'm a seasoned new yorker and know a little defensive driving....! There are seriouly no driving rules in PR.... everyone does what they want! Left turns from the right..... driving on the sidewalk.... once a car was driving backward so fast it took me a few mins to realize what had just happened! Not to mention the condition of the roads.... i bottomed out my rental car SOOO many times! My bf's grandmother told us not to drive after midnight because the cops dont enforce traffic lights!

I agree with HMcruze you need to go to Luquillo beach! THe food is WONDERFUL...dont forget the pina colatas! with or without rum.

There is a food hut at the bottom of the el Yunque mountain.... You'll see a lot of people out side with coconut drinks. Its a must stop! (skip the coconut because its just coconut water and not sweet like you would think.)
