  1. Just my opinion, but this is crazy. Sort of ruins the "spirit" of the traditional being invited to the Captain's table on a ship. I wonder how the officers feel about being "sold" for entertainment purposes? This just feels wrong! You will never see me or my family pay for the "services" of an officer at dinner. Royal -- what are you thinking?? Katherine

Anything to get us to pay for more. I agree it does ruin the spirit of the tradition. Next they will be charging us for the shows.

  2. *All Beverage Packages exclude any beverages served inside licensed Starbucks® stores.

I had a beverage package last year and it included coffees from the Star Buck.

What do they mean by Premium coffees and teas? I thought that was the Star Bucks spot on the ship where they made the Lattes and so on.

    Toast to all-inclusive options*

    • Cocktails / Spirits / Liqueurs / Beer

    • Bottled still and sparkling water

    • Wines by the glass

    • Fresh squeezed juices / Non-alcoholic cocktails

    • Premium coffees and teas

    • Fountain sodas / Coca-Cola Freestyle® beverages

    • Coca-Cola® souvenir cup included

Will I be able to get a Star Bucks coffee using my beverage packet if I'm sail on the Grandeur of the Sea this month? Are they just excluded on the Oasis ships?

  3. Thank you BrianAtl your Part 8 helped answer my question of "can you order more than one".

Jim Henry on CC after dining at Disney's Palo many, many times we have learned that the extra charge does go to the serving staff but they do such a great job that we usually double what ever the fee is.

  4. We have only cruised with Royal Caribbean once and that was on Granduer of the Sea but we have cruised alot with Disney. Disney Cruise lines has Palo's an adult only, pay as you dine, reservations only, dining option. My DH and I love it at Palo, the service is always outstanding, the food is just out of this world. They offer a brunch that is to die for and a High Tea, O.K. enough praising them.

My question is when dining at Chops Grill can you request more than one entree, I've noticed while reading the few reviews I've seen that no one says they tried the Salmon, the Filet and the Lamb.

And I've read that the $25. pp charge includes the tip too, is that true?

I'm sure the food is so much better because the chief is cooking for a few people at one time he's not cooking in mess quantities.

    Thanks to all!
