  1. Hi and Congrats 2018 brides! I am a May 2019 bride on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the seas. I am getting married on the last day of the cruise. Have any of you done this? Our package includes breakfast in bed, dinner at a speciality restaurant, cabin decorations etc, and I am wondering if we can do all of that stuff BEFORE the day of wedding... since there won't be any other time to do it. I would appreciate y'alls input!

  2. Hi Everyone! My name is Whitney and I got engaged earlier this month. My Fiance and I had always said we would do a cruise wedding. Because of my school/residency schedule, we have decided to do it in May or June 2019. Which gives a shorter planning window than I would like, but what can you do!

We are trying to decide what cruise line to go with right now. We are strongly leaning towards Carnival. Does anyone know what the additional fee for guests is after 20 guests?

    Thanks!

  3. Wanted to get someone's opinion on this: I normally book Carnival cruises using a travel agent competing website. I found a good deal through one- he is quoting me the same price as Carnival, but with a good amount of OBC. When I called to discuss and book, he told me I wouldn't actually get OBC, but he would deduct the quoted OBC amount from the cost of the cruise.

Have any of you heard of this being done? What is the reasoning behind this? It just seems... odd to me.

    Thanks for your help!

  4. Hi!

I am hoping that someone might be able to offer me some advice. I booked a cruise through a travel agent about 6 months ago- a D2 cabin, and got what I thought was an ok price. Yesterday, I found out that the price through the travel agent for the same cabin category had dropped- by about $750. I contacted my travel agent, and was told that in order to get the reduced rate, I would have to cancel my already booked cabin (and lose my deposit of $500 per Royal's policy) and then rebook at the reduced rate. Has anyone had experience with this? Do you think that it is worth the time and effort for the savings?

    I appreciate the advice!

  5. I will apologize in advance if this is hard to follow... but ive been told by Carnival this is a rarity... So i would like opinions.

The Carnival Fascination leaves on a 7 day cruise out of Barbados on Dec 21... It stops in San Juan on Dec 26..and picks up a new cruise of people beginning a 6 day (while cruisers from the 21st are still aboard). It then returns to Barbados on Dec 28 to drop off the cruisers on the 21st, and pick up yet another group of cruisers beginning a cruise on 28th. The cruisers that left from San Juan would then be dropped off again in San Juan.

Has anyone ever done a cruise like this? Is it weird to join a cruise, as its ending for other cruisers? I just wonder about the logisitics of it. When they drop people back off in Barbados, will everything (Pool, Bars, Lido etc) be shut down while they clean for the cruisers on the 28th?

It has a great itinerary... I just want to hear from people who have done this.. Thanks!

  6. Hi! My boyfriend and I are looking at booking a Southern Caribbean cruise in December. Our choices are the Adventure of the Seas- going to St. Thomas, St. Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia, and Grenada..

    Or

The Jewel of the Sea- Going to Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten, and St. Croix.

I would like some opinions on which is the better itinerary! We were leaning towards going to the Adventure because we like ships with Promenades, but I also really really want to swim with the sea turtles in Barbados.

    I appreciate the input!! Thanks!:)
