Started a Roll Call for May 31, 2020 on Oasis and I only see 1 other member. I know others have joined but I cannot see them. Is there any way I can adjust the Roll Call in order to view all members?

I'm really glad to hear that the ship has arrived, I wish the best for passengers and crew. Reading the negative posts just leaves you scratching your head.

How is the Anthem as a first RC cruise, we've only gone on Carnival and were booked on the Anthem for next year

For a first Royal cruise I really would've gone with either a Voyager Class or Freedom class.

I haven't sailed on Oasis class yet (that is my next cruise) but the AOTS and FOTS class ships are just incredible and so easy to get around.

I miss the Portofino version of tiramisu (in a chocolate bowl, with fresh raspberries at the bottom and served with a B-52 shooter on the side), but I enjoyed Giovanni's.

I liked Giovanni's but from what I remember I really just enjoyed the overall experience of Portofino

Hello all!

I just cruised with my GF on Independence Of The Seas and dined at Giovanni's. Prior to this cruise my last cruise was in 2008 and that ship had Portofino's.

I found that there was a difference in both restaurants, in my opinion Portofino was way better in every way.

Giovanni's to me was very mediocre at best. What happened to Portofino's? Why did they do away with it?

Weird find, but the Allure is definitely still showing these as category GS at that time, well after they change to ATS's on Oasis.

We have booked 12730 on the May 1,2016 Allure cruise. We booked it while on our last cruise aboard Independence this past May.

Anthem OTS - Joff Eaton will be taking out the ship and continuing on as its regular CD. Ken Rush will also be onboard for the first 6-8 weeks doing behind the scenes duties to provide a smooth take out

 

Brilliance OTS - Rob McNally began on December 16 for 2 months. Clo O'Connor returns in mid-February.

Hello, is this the updated list for CD's?

I have never experienced him as a CD on a ship....but I have read many many times, how people have loved him. Same with Richard Spacey.

 

I have had very good CD's and just OK CD's, maybe one CD that I really did not like....but regardless of the CD, I can't say that a CD has ruined any cruise I have been on, because of his demeanor or style.

 

I surely don't book a cruise because of the CD that is onboard, nor would I avoid a cruise because of the CD onboard.

This is so true! I have never, ever let a CD make or break a cruise for me.

I've had a blast on every cruise I've been on regardless of who was CD at the time.

My vote is for Freedom Class ships.
