I found that usually cruise lines don't accept gift cards at all once on board. However, I got around that by calling and buying myself a "gift" of OBC for the exact amount on the gift card. I just have the number like it was a personal credit card. I got a receipt, so it looked like it worked. But this was on Princess, Carnival might be different.

I am also worried about parking. With Norwegian and princess are both there, it seems like 800 spots is not going to cut it.
I am in Houston leaving on January 4th. And I don't think that Park&Cruise lots will be up and running yet, especially without very much data on the parking market.

Out of curiosity, I saw that the pub lunch is now at the Crown. Does that mean you have to pay a premium? Or is it just like MDR lunch?
