Thank you everyone! We will be on the Escape. Our 1st with NCL was the Getaway and they had the books with pictures. I was just not sure what was considered a Standard Picture. Seems like getting 50 Standard photos as an incentive is a lot so I was doubtful that they are 5x7 or 8x10 photos. I guess we will find out. :)

Hello! For our upcoming January cruise, one of our included extras is • Photo - Fifty standard photos per cabin. Does anyone know what a standard photo is? Sorry, this is only our 2nd Norwegian cruise so I am new to the extras. :)

UPDATE - They were able to apply the other Cruise Next deposit to my current reservation (we sail January 14, 2017) and since we were already paid in full, are refunding $250 to our credit card! SCORE. So glad I read this post. Thanks to the OP for this!!!

So, I just called NCL. They said that I could apply an additional CruiseNext deposit to my January booking but I would have to call my TA. So, I did that and they called NCL and were told that it was only for new bookings. He is trying a different person now. Frustrating when not everyone has the same answers. :confused:

hmm, we have a cruise booked for January. I wonder if I could apply another CruiseNext deposit on it? I will call my TA now. Thanks for the heads up!

We were on the Getaway in January with our 4 and 6 year old and we had an amazing time! The kids had the best time of all. They loved the water area and the water slides and most of all, the kids club!! They begged us to go back every night. Dinners are long on any cruise line and we never experienced one rude person during our dining experiences. I know that everyone has different experiences but we go into each cruise knowing that we have to be flexible since we cruise with our kids. Sorry your experience was not what you expected it to be.

We will be in Tortola in January. Traveling with my husband and 2 girls ages 7 and 5 and our friends and their son who will be 2. I heard that there is a free beach in Tortola. Does anyone know the name or have other suggestions? First time there and since we have young kids, wanted to just do a beach day.

I paid almost my entire cruise with gift cards from Verizon. Just had to give my travel agent the numbers and she applied them.

I am sure this has been asked a million times but I do not much info out there. We will be in Belize with Carnival Magic on August 23. I was looking into Bacab Eco Park but would really nice to find something that is all inclusive (food, drinks, etc). Is there anything like that at this port? Anyone been to Bacab? We would like to do a beach day since my girls are really too young for much else. Thank you in advance!!

We are booked on Magic in August for my birthday! Will be our first time on Carnival. We just got off the Getaway in January. My kids are 6 and 4 and they had a GREAT time in the kids club and asked to go back every night. They also LOVED the water slides (they have one specifically for younger kids). We had a great time on the Getaway. We are booked on the Escape for January 2017 and heard great things about it as well. I really don't think you can go wrong with either. I do know that Magic just had the 2.0 upgrades in a dry dock a few weeks ago but I do like the promotion NCL is offering. Good luck with your choice!

I have a question about the 15 drinks in a 24 hour period. So, hypothetically, say I do not start drinking until 2pm. I am having a good time and the drinks are flowing and I hit 15 by 9pm. Am I not allowed to have any more drinks until 2pm the next day? I do realize that 15 drinks is a lot but I am just curious about this policy. Thank you!

You'll be docking at Mahogany Bay. There's a beach right there. And the cruise ships sponsor a dolphin swim/show which is also right there. That's easy. NOt a way to see a lot of Roatan, but for kids a beach is a beach.

Is this a free beach? Are there any restaurants, etc? Sorry to jump in but we are traveling here in August with our kids as well. Thank you!

I was on in January as well. We also had shrimp. The meal was very good.

Hello! We took our first Norwegian cruise on the Getaway in January and loved it. My husband and I are thinking about taking a shorter cruise (without our kids) in late August. We have been on 3 cruises and all the ships have been 140k tons and up. Will we be disappointed with the size of the Sky? Any input is appreciated! Thank you!
